Stoneground Paint Co. - Regina
Inspired by nature and made by hand, we craft our paint in small batches the traditional way, assuring the quality and vivid reflective nature of handmade paint watercolour. We combine the world’s finest pigments with a binder made of only locally sourced organic honey, and the world’s finest gum Arabic, foregoing the use of fillers, extenders, or preservatives, which muddy and dull paint unnecessarily.
Historically, artists had a deep understanding of their art supplies, often sourcing their own pigments, and making their own paints. Their binders were made by hand, and their pigments sought out based on effects, properties, or rarity. Their artwork was only as good as the supplies they create for themselves.
Here at The Stoneground Paint Co., we are passionate about re-establishing the lost connection between artists and their supplies.

They were very helpful, even let me test an ink colour on paper. They have a huge selection of different mediums of paint and paper. Great art supply store!

The paints far surpassed my expectations and so did the service! Everyone who came into the store while I was there was acknowledged and helped. I will definitely include this stop in my future travels east!

โ โ โ โ โ Have used a couple of the pans of watercolour, they always seem to have the exact colour I'm looking for for scenery paintings. So was looking at the website at more colours and decided to just go for it and got the whole colour palette. It's beautiful! Everything is labeled and it will be super easy to make swatches for inside the tins. Their colours are so vibrant, the first paint I got was Florentine green for far away forest. Then the Cobalt aquamarine for lake Louise. The whole set is beautiful. And made in Canada with as many locally sourced products they can which makes it even more awesome!
