Through a caring delivery and respectful process, we worked through the layers of several life challenges I faced. I owe a lot of my self awareness and personal growth to the tools I was given and insights taught to me by their team.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I began seeing Laura during a challenging time in my life, and the guidance and support she’s given me has been phenomenal. Not only has she provided me tremendous encouragement and assistance in working through some issues, she’s also provided valuable pre-marital and couple’s counselling to myself and my husband. I feel far more equipped to navigate issues that come my way, knowing I have a therapist like Laura to work through them with.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are not enough words to describe how amazing Kayla is. I have always been averse to the idea of counselling. The stigmas have always been what kept me away. Will people think I’m weak? Or crazy? Or a failure? I went through so many serious life changes that I didn’t know how to cope. I felt broken. Then I thought, if my car is broken I take it to a mechanic, so if “I’m broken” I need to take myself to someone who can help “fix” me. Enter Kayla! Kayla sometimes just listens and doesn’t say much. I never realized how powerful having someone just listen and be there with you in that moment can be. No judgements or fixes just listening. With a gentle nudge she makes me ask myself the tough questions. Questions I don’t think to ask or more truthfully want to ask. There is never judgement! She has helped me learn so much about myself which in turn has helped me with relationships and simply life. Through the pandemic I have had the option to meet via Zoom so I have been able to continue sessions. I have made so many positive changes in the way I think and see situations. The stigmas don’t bother me anymore because I know Kayla has brought about so many positive changes in the way I think and act. Kayla is an amazing therapist and person and anyone would be lucky to work her!

Not only has she been instrumental with the growth of our relationship, she has also played a huge role on our growth as individuals. She has a way of helping us dig a little deeper and uncover what it is that we are feeling exactly in that moment. She has a gentle way of helping us tap into our past and helping us heal any leftover pain. I am so grateful for walking through her door that very first day. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was a shell of a human with no regard for my own well being, and feeling undeserving of good, when I first decided to seek counselling. I was skeptical, thinking my whole life, that I'm not in need of something like counselling.
From our very first interaction, the 15 minute consultation, Kayla met me with nothing but compassion, consideration, listening and understanding, and has continued consistently ever since. This is something I don’t think I have fully experienced with anyone before, and I can’t express my gratitude for her.
I value our time together and am so appreciative of Kayla and the space we share and the guidance she provides me. I feel safe and protected when interacting with Kayla, and I couldn't ask for more, I have unending gratitude for Kayla and Steadfast and the space they create for healing and understanding.
