Been busy reading even more since the course. Mont and Houkje were incredibly easy going and down to earth. Mont is a fantastic teacher and pleasure to be around. If you are truly a beginner I’m sorry for your hands the blisters will come fast and with fury. Enjoy your time, I did!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took the weekend blacksmith training. Mont and Houkje were really flexible when an emergency interrupted the weekend, but we got through all the material in great detail. Mont was great at answering all of my never-ending questions, and Houkje was super nice. I got to take home everything I made, with a certificate to boot! Highly recommend if you're wanting to blacksmith and have never done it. You'll learn more in a weekend from Mont than you would in a year on your own!
