★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have been shopping there since store opened but today a maskhysteric clerk agressively approached and loudly berated my "face shield" claiming store requires mandatory cloth masks nose top to chin. I explained I am medically exempt and wore the shield as a curtousy. She was still miserable and began explaining (using her medical degree I presume) how inneffective shields were and called me discourteous to others while the man at the desk nodded agreement enthusiastically. This was public shaming in the most severe sense and since I am Canadian and not soviet I will use my freedom to expose this disgusting behavior and never step into a staples store again anywhere.
When this sillyness is over, remember ... Because the people you abuse will remember you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Warning do not use Staples you will get Covid 19 from used headphones. As they will not return or exchange purchased headphones even if you have found them to be defective. You can waste more of your time since it is worth nothing to them by contacting the manufacturer yourself to get a refund.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would give less then one star ✴️ if I can. Very lousy service is Staples in Powell River.
A lady who said that she was a manager, had been standing for a ling period of time. She was holding a broom and standing between two printers.
Instead of serving customers, her and at least 5 other employees chatted.
If you ignore customers, they do not come back! I am not coming back there. Your (non) service suck!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My grandparents went to buy a new ipad from here. They asked for assistance in transferring all the data from the old device to the new one. The staff that "assisted" them made a complete mess of everything. Half the things they said they could help transfer, did not transfer properly, the staff then forced them to purchase itunes cards to pay for extra cloud storage which was not needed and is not a form of payment for icloud storage, and they are now stuck with monthly cloud fees on their credit card that they are struggling to cancel. I will never send them back to this store. The employees took complete advantage of my grandparents by selling them things they have no need for and did not provide any explanation as to why my grandparents "needed" these things. If I could give less than one star I would.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the service reps took it upon herself to police how I was wearing my mask repeatedly, as my mask was slightly below my nose. Moreover, the prices fail to match Amazon or Bestbuy. Always leave the store feeling generally ripped off. Yet due to rude service, I will buy all electronics online now.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Staples location may not be as large as other locations, but it is a fair size and has a lot of stock to choose from. Staff seem willing to be helpful. Store looks clean and well kept. If you're looking for something, they just might have it in stock.
