β β β β β Staff are not friendly. God forbid you ask for help, you'll feel scolded for asking. I always feel like I'm ruining someone's day with a question with how a good majority of the staff react. I've stopped shopping here because it's not friendly. I go to Rona on the other side of town or I'll road trip an hour away to visit at home Depot.

β β β β β I called in to order something and the older lady on the phone couldn't have been more ignorant... I do not recommend this store to anyone! Very poor customer service and the employees are selfish and rude... I wish I could give negative stars. Worst hardware store period. I would definitely give them a solid -5 stars. The place is trash..

β β β β β I baught a outdoor time last Christmas.
Went to set up my out doors lights
The timer totally fell apart.
Went in to see about exchanging the defective one for a new one .
The two ladies in the paint area were totally rude
First ,I was told ,no timer has any warranty.
Not even a day.
They did not even look at my timer to see it was mint shape.
I would have to keep my receipt to exchange ANYTHING.
I paid for a timer and it was defective.
I wanted to exchange it for one that works.
Who keeps a receipt for any item.
Do you realize,how many receipts you would have in a year.
Maybe hundreds.
I was a Wal Mart Assistant Manager in Northern Ontario and we stressed customer service.
As long as a customer braught a item we sold ,and it was a item we still carried and if they had to receipt ,we would exchange it .
I was not even offered.
How can we help you.
How can we make it right.
Very sad and disappointed.
I will drive to a nearby town,or order on line
Amazon is free shipping.
If you don't like it ,send it back ,free
It breaks,get your total money back.

β β β β β I visited this location today in search of one tool specifically. I was pleasantly surprised to see this small town store had a good selection of tools and home improvement items. They had exactly the tool I wanted to purchase. The price of the inflator gun I purchased is comparable to other big box stores. I couldnβt help but notice the staff at this Home Hardware is quick to help customers. With the front and back of the store checkouts, It is easy to pay and leave promptly. I will definitely shop here again.
