R	Rob Curwain on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When I walked in, I was greeting by who I assume was the owner, who was friendly enough. The food came out in a timely fashion, and was both warm and delicious. I was a little put off by the painting of the wall while I was there, plus the owner’s back-and-forth with a local customer, which was meant as joking remarks, but as a first-time patron, did not come across as such. Can’t knock the owner for being friendly though. Will be back for another meal in the future.
A	Alexis Fu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was delicious! My partner enjoyed the liver and onions, jalapeño poppers and I absolutely loved the fish and chips. Perfectly fried fish that wasn’t greasy and I loved the batter. We picked it up late and drove another 10min home yet it will still hot and fresh. Owner has a great personality and I enjoyed our conversation very much! Will be back! PS. We literally fell into a food coma afterwards and dozed off.

The owner greeted us anyways and was extremely accommodating, friendly and agreed to whip us up something (despite being closed) Food was fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. Most definitely will be back (within normal business hours lol). Anyone who hasn't been here yet - you're missing out!

They were so good, I should've bought more! Definitely worth the drive from Smithville! Can't wait to go again!

Instead of food, I order my Birthday cake (technically still food, I guess) from Darryl every year. His carrot cake is like (what I imagine) it would taste like to lick a Unicorn's horn - sublime. Along with his excellent cakes however, Darryl himself is just a fantastic individual. His hospitality, openness and joy are contagious and we could all use a little bit more of that in our lives these days. Go for the food - stay for the dude.

We were immediately greeted with Daryl’s infectious, outgoing personality, engaging the entire restaurant of customers with his charm. We were entertained and enjoyed our entire time in the diner from entry to exit. Whilst there, we both had their signature Tou Ton burger: this was a delight. Nestled between fried dough was beautiful red onions, lettuce, tomato, and a very generous patty, that actually doesn’t contain fillers. We were treated to a slice of Daryl’s lemon cheesecake made in-house: it was so good that I ate it too quickly to take a photo of. For unique take on diner food, with a fantastic charm, making it stellar dining experience, go here immediately!
W	W. L. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing little place with a personable owner ? just had the chicken burger, it was amazing. Not salty, not drenched in grease, bun is light and not soggy... And I walked 20 home with this dinner. Very tasty. Their tea buns are yummy too, all the different flavors. It's always fun going in and ordering. ?
