Must order the cheese croquettes, amazing with the currywurst ketchup, we’re going to try to recreate at home.
Mussels were delicious and the drinks were great.
Fast friendly service, our must go to in Peterborough!

Best way to describe the place is an upscale pub but not snobbish.
Staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about their menu and drinks.
Will definitely be returning again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my favourite restaurant in Peterborough, no questions asked. Staff are always delightful and knowledgeable, a clear effort has gone into training them. The beer selection is nothing short of outstanding, and the menu leaves nothing to be desired.
If you love a good seafood dish, there's often a great selection of options. The ceviche salad on their menu in summer 2021 was a delight with such a nice balance of acid and flavor.
If you're interested, the Whiskey menu will no doubt please. There are dozens of options, with classics like Laphroaig, and more "exotic" options, such as one aged in sherry casks.
You can't go wrong with a night out at St. Veronus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Go to spot for Mussels and fries! Love the different mayo/sauce selections. Had some takeout during the lockdowns and recently had a beer at the bar; the bar itself is worth checking out with all the wood finishes. Great hangout spot to take friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite the charming bar - I love the decor, feeling like I was in a decades old European restaurant..
Full disclosure, we only drank beer here and did not sample any of their menu. We had reservations down the street and didn't want to spoil our dinner.
That being said, this place is awesome if you want to try unique, imported beers. The list is endless and overwhelming, and the server was fairly new and couldn't offer much help. We simply selected blindly with menu descriptions, and none were terrible.
Don't see many places like this with such huge unique selections. Great vibe to along with it, making it a great spot to sip the day away.

Came back this weekend and it was definitely worth it going there again (2-hour driving only for it).
Great vibe, amazing staff (shout out to Chris - what a cool guy!!!), excellent food, and a wide range of exceptional beers
Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sat on the patio, and they took us early even though our reservation was for later. The server was awesome, had menus water and drinks within minutes. Food was quick and oh so delicious. Price was on point and one of the best restaurants in the city. Will be back for sure!
