B	Bradford Smith on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is AMAZING!!! The day we visited, the ladies Helen (The owner I believe) and Kat (the barista), were VERY friendly. We stopped on January 25th (Sunday) just before closing. I mean MINUTES before...most places would be grumpy, but NOT here! They were making a fancy Beef dinner, the name of which I can't begin to spell...."Beef Burgenion"(?sp) for their "Meals to Go" cooler.....<<<--BRILLIANT! We ordered two coffees, I think they may have been 2 of the best coffees I have had in recallable past. We also had a couple VERY tasty cookies....they even threw in a free one, because it was the end of the day and we were undecided on its purchase. This place is INCREDIBLE! Worth the 140 Km drive. We will absolutely return.
C	Courtney Whooler on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited a couple weeks ago and while the food and coffee was good. The cost of their freezer items, retail and really everything was ridiculously high. The service staff was nice but the store itself really encapsulated gentrified white owned business which is unfortunately common in downtown Peterborough. The entire time we were there someone, who I assumed was the owner, kept speaking very rudely to her staff and aggressively shooed a homeless man from out of the store. Hate to see this. Unfortunately while it seems like it could be a nice space, I can’t support a business that price gouges and don’t treat people with respect. Think I’ll stick to black honey

Haven’t been in a few weeks and seeing tons of new faces, was told by a lovely gentleman that a lot of them had left! Always good coffee and treats as usual. Sad to see so many of the old staff gone, they were always such kind souls and really brought life to the space whenever they were working, I believe knocks, darker girl with amazing baking skills and Jen? Blonde lady who was always so kind and patient when I was indecisive about what I wanted! I’m an old woman not always the sharpest but happy visit as always :)

I love popping in to see what the baked goods of the day are , as they are always changing and compliment the seasons with local ingredients ! My husband and I always buy our coffee beans here and Helen & her staff are always so gracious and helpful! You MUST try the homemade bagels and scones ❤❤❤

The beans were so flavourful and the machine they use is excellent and did not overheat them. I tried the cortado and it was a 10/10. I also had the croissant and it was great! Croissants aren’t easy to do right but they nailed it. I’m looking forward to frequenting this spot. :)
