J	Jn-Mchl H on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place overall lots of wild life around and beautiful campground the small lake was great for the kids, and the walk by the dam is great ! but overall the place as been neglected by the host(July 2020), Toilet over full and very dirty no paper no sanitizer and with a awfullll smell .. I mean we camp and hike a lot and we have no issue with those type of washrooms but these one were another level!! all garbage cans on site were full and there was absolutely no water ! not even non -drinkable... so don't forget to bring yours !
L	Lisa Gina Cole on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We really really enjoyed staying here, 2 young kids, 3 and 1. Playground was fantastic, there was water access and some easy trails to walk. The sites are spacious, electric only, and grassy. Not many areas to bike but you can go around the camp. Just across the Hwy there was a great beach access that we greatly enjoyed! I would highly recommend. There is no laundry on-site or dump statio n but the town of McGrath is only 20 min away for those needs.
K	Karen McKeel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 stars for the birding at the river side campsite! Warblers, cliff swallows, owls, others our knowledgable friends knew! Campground was nice but the river wasn't a river by the camp sites, it was more a back eddy, but it was big enough and draining enough not to be scummy, though the bottom of the lake plants were super thick. Fishing was hard. Kayaking was good and the birds, oh the birds! Watch out for plops though....?
d	danilo wiebe on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice camp spots but there was no water at all , and the parks person was very aggressive and just killed the mood for the whole weekend . I’m not giving up though we will give it another try, when they’ve got water again , beautiful camp sight otherwise

D	Derrick Smith on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ great campground with beautiful scenery and nice size lots. nice calm river to float around in. there are washrooms but no showers but I don't consider that as a negative, still a great place to camp and I definitely recommend it! also maybe bring some logs of your own to burn as the wood you can buy burns pretty fast.

Just a heads up for people there is no cell service here and the bathrooms arent flushing toilets. We had a great time will definitely be returning every year !
