★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don’t waste your time here. Most youth leave unhappy, dissatisfied and on the streets.
Despite being a last resort, every client I’ve met has declined into a worsened situation due to their horrid service.
The staff do not care for the clients’ well being and are oblivious to mental health and special needs.
The staff are immature, lazy, disrespectful, and biased (with some exceptions of course). they don’t communicate (and when they have it’s been false information and/or disrespectful to the clientele). They target and remove individuals instead of offering the proper support they promise during intake.
Don’t waste your time here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You should NEVER live there! The youth there are really obnoxious and sketchy, probably soon to be criminals (if they already aren't). They are constantly yelling, causing chaos and getting into trouble at the shelter. Outside the shelter, I have learned that some have done criminal acts around the city. For example, one of the youth's siblings was who caused the haystack castle at Brantwood farms to burn down in flames during the 2017 fall festival. The youth smoke more than just cigarettes, and most of the staff also smoke and support it. The staff are untrustworthy, the food is awful (how would you like to have cold ham sandwiches everyday?) and you have no freedom until 3:00. So, even if you have March break or the day off, you still have to stay inside and get taught useless information until the time's up. This place might actually be worse than your current living situation, no matter what false hope social services and youth workers might give you.
