Squirrels Nest Child Care Centre

I read other review. I call police because Caroline touch my son private area. Police come and talk with her and she say sorry she didn't do but she did I see everything. I remove my son from here. Keep eye on your children

They keep my child safe and happy. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The place is clean and pleasant smelling. The decor is a bit dated and but at least it's near the RT for days I don't drive.

My daughter went to this amazing daycare since she was 8wks old and left when she entered JK. I never regret taking her to the daycare,i felt sad when we had to leave.The center is neat, they teach the kids great thngs and it's a place that feel like home. The management and staff are great people.

BEWARE ALL PARENTS BRINGING THEIR CHILD TO THIS CARE CENTRE I am a witness on MORE than one occasion and I also have/seen the video recording, when my friend walked into your day care centre to pickup his son you people told him that his son was picked up by his mother which at the time is against the court order given by the Ontario courts... if my friend took his son when the mother was supposed to pick him up you best believe there would be an amber alert out ASAP.. anyways, he VIDEO RECORDS while speaking to you inside the daycare and not one time did he raise his voice over normal/calm decibel levels, not one time did he threaten you, not one time did he show any sign of aggression, not one time did he lose his composure, not one time did he have physical contact with you, so tell me how exactly do you feel threatened? He leaves the centre without his child because the daycare illegally gave his child to the mother which is AGAINST court orders. A week later my friend gets a email from the Squirrels Nest Child Care Centre saying he is not allowed to enter the centre anymore because of something to do with the workers feeling threatened. My friend gets a trespassing warning to stay away from the Squirells Nest Child Care Centre even though the child care centre KNEW that he had a son there and that he picks him up whenever possible. As someone watching this scenario I am flabbergasted at the fact that a DAY CARE CENTRE is purposely LIEING to the police, authorities, and lawyers in order to keep my friend away from his son... I see no reason as to why you despicable people would lie to ruin someone else's relationship with their son... do you not want the child to see his father? Do you not want the best for the child? Why are you people trying to separate a man from his son? I thought day cares were a place to bring family and the community closer together... not rip them apart.. I need to edit the video and make it more entertaining before I post it on YouTube so I can guarantee that it will be viewed by millions and hopefully get to the Press. Once the video is done you can search up " Squirrels Nest Child Care Centre, where they separate families for fun" Ps I'm in the process of filing a formal complaint with the independent office for school dispute resolution or if they cant handle the matter than I will make a formal complaint with early childhood services. I will inform them of corruption because Cathy and Caroline are colluding together in order to separate a father from his son for no known reason other than their personal feminism reasons. You will also burn in hell but theres nothing you can do about that , the damage is done, you deceived everyone into believing your lies and ruining an innocent fathers relationship with his son, shame on you

I Basically grew up here, great staff and facility, the system of progression between each age group was intuitive and fostered a greater sense of community. A good choice for parents enrolling their children at either Edgewood Public School or St. Victors catholic school. Their long developed daycare programs are very incorporative of inclusion, learning and good behaviour, punishments for wrongdoings were always fair and merciful, and the out of daycare activities were common and highly entertaining. I loved the christmas celebration entertainment that we’d put on every year for parents. Shout out to Caroline for being a great director.

I brought my daughter to see how she would react to this daycare and she seemed very interested. As I was talking to one of the staff members I saw a women touching my daughter in a very inappropriate manner. I immediately confronted her and she responded very aggressively while using profanity in front of my child. I was very shocked to be treated this way and I think it was because I am a Muslim woman. I felt very dissapointed because I see a lot of Islamophobia in Toronto but I did not expect a day care facility to support this type of behaviour. I have already notified the Humans Rights Board and they are very nice people helping me. I also will tell them about the other review that explains a very disturbing situation, I wish I looked at the reviews before choosing this facility

Separating from your baby is one of the hardest things for a mother to do and finding a place to send your child with people you trust is even harder especially during Covid-19. But Squirrel’s Nest went above and beyond when I put my son in daycare. They would call me each day for 2 weeks to let me know how he was doing and even suggested different transitional methods so he would feel more comfortable. I intend to bring my next baby here as they have been absolutely lovely. They send pictures weekly of what my son does and they let them have outdoor time with the other babies. The babies are separated by age group. I don’t know how they have taught my son so many things including eating his greens! Miracle workers. I really love the energy here. Thank you Squirrel’s Nest!!

Very caring teachers and new facilities! You feel the caring from even teachers in other rooms. My daughter has spent her happy 1.5 years there. They sanitize properly during COVID, but don’t over-stress when your kid is just having a tiny running nose. Recommend!
