★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've hiked this twice in winter, lots of snow. The trail is easy to spot even in fresh snow. Pretty quiet tho, I've only seen two other people on the trails.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ High activity with lots of hills, variety of understory vegetation with Aspen canopy cover. For a small part there are some Jack pine with exposed sand and moss cover. The tower is a great place to get an overall sight of the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great trail for a moderate hike with scenic views. There are a couple of wet spots so hiking boots that can handle a bit of mud are a good idea. It's hilly enough to feel like you have accomplished something, but otherwise not overly rugged.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First off this is not an easy hike lol. At a brisk pace with only a few water breaks and no stopping to smell the flowers it was 2hrs. 85% of the hike is up and down. It’s very hilly. The terrain is easy tho. Mostly grassy single and double track. For a Saskatchewan hike it’s great. Easily doable by bike if you can do hills. Very enjoyable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm still undecided on the changes to the trail but that is from a mountain bike view. A couple of fast, tricky sections are gone. It's still a great ride and we'll ride it again and again. It's a surprisingly tough 8km. I'd recommend running it clockwise.
