The housekeeping staff do an outstanding job of keeping the entire resort clean and tidy. The restaurant serves a great selection of food and everything we ordered tasted great. The views are breathtaking of the lake. Iwould recommend this resort to anyone who wants a quiet get away.
A	Amanda L on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really liked the resort. The view was stunning, especially at sunset. We were here during October, so all the changing leaves really added to the aesthetic. We ate at the restaurant, Drinkwaters, and the food was really delicious. The proximity to town was also convenient. About 20min drive. The only problem we had was during the evenings, there was never any hot water. Not sure if it's an off-season thing. I'd give the area a solid 4/5, but the resort itself a 3/5 due to the issues with hot water. Take your shower in the morning.

We spoke with the manager the day we we're going to arrive and he informed us that they had no room for us. He was very rude and ruined our vacation! They would not take responsibility for the error, blaming it on Expedia... I will never book at this resort again..
S	Speedy L on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent staycation. Booked for 3 nights and wish we stayed longer. Staff were so friendly and beautiful rooms. Get one with the lake view so you can see the beavers. Food at restaurant was amazing and reasonably priced. They have kayaks and canoes you can use for free. Definitely will book again.
f	fran cooperman-pfaff on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very short staffed but the ones who were there were very helpful. This place has a lot of little issues that need to be addressed. Rooms sometimes lack things like light bulbs...pens...bath mats. Pillows feel like plastic under your head. Garbage in outside areas is left to overflowing for days with no one collecting it. Chairs on balconies at end of halls are filthy and cobwebs grab you at every turn. Dinners are very pricey...$18 for a salad and main courses are overcooked ( somewhat burned). Desserts are very so so. Not heated when they should be. Staff are lovely but very young and have no clue how to set a table. You have to ask for water glasses...spoons and napkins. There appears to be no general manager to oversee jobs and quite often there was no one at the front desk to help out or give info. No one would even answer a phone in case of emergency The breakfast sandwiches available across the street are hardly what you would consider adequate for a resort charging these prices per night. If you have a kitchen then at least provide a continental breakfast for your guests. The resort sits right on hwy 4 and you can never get away from traffic noise. The beds are comfortable and the staff very nice, however for these prices i would stay somewhere else. A general manager with experience is badly needed.
