B	Brandon Cole on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing cottage resort on Kannebec Lake. The resort has a marina, general store and a beach all will a ton of lawn games and activities. There is always something to do, water trampoline, boats for rent, fishing... they even let us set up a slip and slide! We had a bachelor and bachelorette party, so it was awesome we could have separate spaces but still get together for games and some drinks. Our cabin had a barrel sauna and hot tub as well! The hosts (new owners of the resort - March 2021) and staff were all great and very nice and accommodating. This is a perfect spot for families or big groups!

Great family vacation spot. We came for the 4 wheeling and really enjoyed our time. We were in cottage 15. Big, spacious and private. Certainly, many thing to do during your stay. Great place.

A hammock or gazebo greets you around each corner, and a new game to try to is found scattered amongst the many picnic tables. This place strikes the balance between a social cottage resort while still offering a private retreat. Highly recommend!!! Will be back.

The cottage is beautifully maintained with a well equipped kitchen to supply you with whatever you may need for your stay. The owners Ed and Christine are friendly from phone conversations to arrival and throughout our stay. Ed was out and about maintaining the property and alway up for a friendly conversation. Our family enjoyed the “Shared Shed” which is fully stocked with Many board games and videos for all ages as well as puzzles and books to borrow and enjoy during our stay. My boys (12&15) LOVED the Games room which offered (darts, pool, foosball, basketball, tabletop shuffleboard and video game console). The highlight of our weekend was Crocicurl. We enjoyed many family battles. It can be played all day and into the evening with with beautiful evening lights. The draw to the cottage resort was ice fishing unfortunately Mother Nature didn’t quite cooperate with a few days of thaw prior to our arrival and then a big snowfall the night before we arrived. Ed went out of his way (clearing a pathway through all the slush on the lake to make sure our family and others got out for our last day to fish. He also cleared the skating rink to make sure this amenity was also available to the families.. We were so happy with our stay we have already booked for 2023.. Great space for family time and family fun…

Whether you feel like skating, ice fishing, playing crokicurl, enjoying some hot tub time, or hanging out in the Games Room or exploring the impressive variety of games, movies and books in the Share Shed, or just holing up together in your cozy cabin, Springwood Cottage Resort is the place to go for your Winter Getaway. We're already planning our next visit.

Spring wood is a great balance of that classic cozy cottage feel and the creature comforts of home. Ed gave us such a warm welcome and was so accommodating. Lots of fun winter activities were set up. I can only imagine how fun Springwood is in summer. Perfect spot for groups and families. Can’t wait to go back!
