The cottages aren't really cottages. There trailers. Fiahing is bad and won't fish here again. Outside is wonderful. No towns around the only town close is run down.

I stayed over night in September 2015 with relatives who rented at Panorama Camp. The camp ground was very nice and well maintained. Bonnie, the owners wife is very nice, but the owner Chris was very unpleasant. He charged me twice the price to dock my boat that he advertises on their website, and became vocal and angry when I asked why. I had no choice, so I paid it. The next morning I saw him yelling at a lady who asked a simple question. This is a beautiful place but the owner's attitude ruined the experience.

I stayed over night in August of 2015. A nice park with well maintained lawns. The rest rooms were reasonably clean. However the owner is not people friendly. I docked my boat and he charged twice what his website advertised for this service. When I asked why, he was instantly angry and hostile, saying it was his place and if I didn't like it, get the &*%# out. The next morning I saw him yelling at a lady who had the audacity to ask him a question. Staying here should be a pleasant experience, unfortunately, it was not.

We stayed in one of the cottages in 2016. The buildings are older but very clean and well stocked with all we needed for the week. The kids had a great time on the beach and out in the lake. Very relaxing for us. Bonnie and Chris treated us very well. Bonnie is very friendly. We had what turned out to be a simple boat motor problem, Chris bent over backwards to try and find someone to help fix it. Their pride of ownership shows in how well the grounds are kept. Thanks again. We will return.

We found Panorama heavenly; although we were just passing through, we realized while walking the dogs how naturally beautiful this place is. I took off 1 star due to some buildings needing some care: things were a bit timeworn, but not ugly. After all, you're at the lake! The owners were fantastic; we enjoyed long talks about dogs and grandkids with Mrs. The price was right; I felt truly back to nature, yet had all the accommodations I needed. Restrooms were clean. Did not use showers or laundry. We'll be back ; I even sent on the website to a fisherman friend of mine.

My husband, 13 yr old son and I just enjoyed the best week at Panorama Camp!! Chris, Bonnie and Rena were great hosts - helpful, happy, knowledgeable, great to spend time with. We stayed in cabin 1 which was clean, well stocked and we always had hot water. We docked our own boat right in front of the cabin on a sturdy dock. Boat launch was easy to access. The boys figure they caught 25 fish - pike, small mouth and large mouth bass. Chris knows the lake well and was able to point out the good fishing holes. We've already starting talking about other families we could invite to join us for future holidays!

Great little campground. Stayed 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. Great breeze from lake Nipissing. Would definitely return. Seasonal and overnight lots available. Also cottage rentals available on site. Waterfront lots are serviced with 15 amp service and the other lots are serviced with 30 amp. Small beach to swim. Little playground for the kids. Large field for kids to play or dogs to run. Firewood, bait and ice available on site. Overall experience was good.

We’ve been to this campground before, so knew what to expect. I was concerned by the posts about the new owners, but I wasn’t planning to spend my time with them. We asked for the corner lot by the docks and were told that you couldn’t see the water from there (you totally can; they changed it to a permanent site). We booked the site that was beachfront. We booked in March. We arrive and they gave our site away. When we roll in they said that our trailer was too big for that site (same size as the one on the site) and it would be easier to get in (90° back-in; it wasn't). We find out that it is 1 of 3 trailers of the same family and we're plunked in the middle of them (not the family’s fault). Ruined our experience and expectations. Not coming back and ending our stay three days early. Update: First we tried to speak to the owner, before posting. They were not at the office. It makes sense that family-run operators have many things to tend to. No harm. After posting, the owner came to speak with me and address our concerns. Good effort there. When we arrived we were told we were moved because our trailer was too big for the site we booked - not true; the trailer that is in there is the same size. Then we were told it was easier to get into our site - not true; 90 degree back-in versus straight back to the site we booked. Then we were told they gave up our site because the people had small children and we didn’t - true, but we booked in March when it was free. Finally, we were told that there is no guarantee on any booking of a specific site, only the type of site. The owner offered us a refund on the unused days or a change to another site. We accepted the refund. The owner will be updating their website to state that all bookings will not specify the site you want, only the site type. Any booking is subject to change prior to arrival. I still don’t understand why we were told the stuff about trailer size when we arrived.
