If you ever try to shop here while with your teenage child, which is completely legal, they will automatically assume you are purchasing for them and will aggressively kick you out of the store. If your lucky, they may threaten you with a lifetime ban. After conversing with the owner, I found that he fully supports his staff to act this way.

While with my 11 year old daughter, I bought two wine bottles and a pack of Smirnoff ice. As my hands were full, my daughter helped carry some of the bottles. The cashier assumed I was purchasing wine for my daughter, and reminded me that it was illegal for children to carry a bottle of wine and that other stores “would not even serve me”. This is the first time I have heard such nonsense- and shop regularly while with my kids at the BC liquor store and the liquor store beside anytime fitness. Never had we had the issue of the ban of children in the store. This will be my first and last time at the store. I encourage everyone who has children to not shop here as you will also be banned and shamed for bringing your child in the store as opposed to leaving them in the car. Please read the other review about the experience of others as it appears to be a reoccurrence.

Not only do they have an epic selection and great prices, but they have UNBEATABLE customer service. Danny-- you're the man! Thanks for having our back and pretty much dominating life. CHEERS!!! ONE AND ONLY GO-STORE!!!

I purchased a bottle of wine, unfortunately when I opened the bottle (screw top) the stem holding the cap completely disintegrated into the bottle and onto my hand. When i returned to the store a couple hours after purchase to explain what happened I was met with a terribly rude and apathetic attitude from Justin who refused to do anything. I wasn't expecting such bad service from a small local store, I will stick to BC Liquor from now on
