Speedy Glass Calgary Crowfoot

WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE: We have an X3 BMW that had a crack in the windshield. We have decided to sell it so we took it to get detailed (the shop can verify no scratches or damage) and the next day we took the car to Speedy to replace the windshield with BMW glass. We usually go to the dealership because they take care, but were told by our insurance company that we had to go with a less expensive place. This car has been my husbands baby. He has even taken the license plate off to clean it. He took videos of the car at Speedy before they began the work because there are no dings or scratches on it and we have never dealt with Speedy, so no idea how much care they take. So car comes out and there are 4 parallel scratches on the car above the windshield. My husband walked the car prior to leaving and brought it to their attention. They told him to talk to the manager. My husband went back this morning, showed the video to the manager. He has been told that their equipment would not have caused the damage. So we are now left with these huge, deep scratches in our once immaculate car. We are contacting the insurance company to complain and see where to go from here. We are also getting a letter from the detailing company to back us up. Everyone makes mistakes. We get this. I realize that people probably try to take advantage, which is why we documented the state of the car prior to leaving it there. It is unfortunate that the guy that made the scratches when putting it in just didn't own up to it to the boss. When provided with evidence that there were not any scratches through the video, they still refuse to admit fault. This blows my mind. My dad used to own an auto body shop, stuff happens, but taking responsibility for your errors is actually good business. If they had, this review would have been much different. Clearly this is not a place I would every recommend to anyone. I am extremely disappointed with the integrity of this company.

I bought a car with a prepaid windshield replacement and it wasn't until I had already booked my appointment for the new windshield that I came across all of the scathing reviews. I can only imagine that the person responsible for the bad service no longer works at this location as every aspect of my visit was excellent. My mom met picked me up so I could run some errands instead of waiting the two hours and she ended up booking her van for a new windshield yesterday. I spoke with her this morning and asked how everything went. She told me that it ended up being much more expensive than she thought. I was a bit worried and asked her what happened. It turns out that she spent her 2 hours of waiting across the street shopping at Mark's and Scrapbookers. The only aspect of my experience that wouldn't get 5 stars was the lady that tried to help me with booking my appointment. While you dial what appears to be the number for that location is gets routed somewhere else (call center?) and she had a lot of trouble understanding that I was booking an appointment for a prepaid windshield. Eventually, she transferred me to the actual location and the man who answered the phone knew immediately what car I was calling about. Great service; give them a try and don't get hung up on the old reviews.

I went in to get a chip on my windshield repaired this morning and was very impressed by the level of customer service. They managed to fill the crack with resin, so the chip won't spread. However, when I went in to pick up my vehicle I was informed that there would be no charge for it because the crack was still visible. Would definitely recommend.

Booked an appointment, showed up a few minutes early. Took a few minutes longer than I was quoted but the results are great. From my experience a few minutes is nothing compared to the few hours other places make you wait aimlessly. Staff were very friendly and easy to deal with. I will definitely be coming back the next time Alberta roads throw rocks into my windshield.

Great Service. Ray was our technician and was super polite and knowledgeable and was a great help. He also did a very good job on replacing the rear hatchback window on our car. Good price, good service. Highly recommended.

Drove from Winnipeg back to Calgary and got a stone chip right when we go into Calgary. Within 2 hours after that happening, it was fixed by Speedy Glass. Truly living up to the name.

Brought a vehicle in for a rock chip repair and was treated with fantastic customer service from Jonah and Chris.

Very good pricing and they did a great job replacing my windshield. Also the hydrophobic coating they put on is great
