★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately, they will charge at an unreasonable rate even when they can't provide a solution to your problem. They do not give you a receipt and report of what have been done at your house. Somehow bill you months afterward, evading tax perhaps.

Also I got the part I needed which was not available at any other hvac/plumbing stores.
Armstrong bearing assembly for the pump.
If you need any armstrong pump or parts they are the ones to go to!
Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We hired Spears to help us with a sump issue. They were always on time and, although we had a complex issue, they diagnosed the problem quickly. The problem could not be immediately fixed, but Spears provided a stop-gap measure until the right product was found.
They might seem pricey but they went above and beyond in our case (we have 4 sumps, they only needed to work on the two with pumps, but they helped us with all of them without extra cost). It is also true that it took a few months for them to send us an invoice, but I don't have a problem with delayed payment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We hired this company to come and replace two floaters in our sump.
The first guy who came was an hour and half late. He only stayed for 20 minutes and told us we just needed to install two new floaters.
They charged us $457.80
They came back to install the floaters. This time an extra person came.
They charged us $851.76
The floaters were an additional $245.70
The total after tax came to $1,659.25
The invoice then changed another two times, once we started to question the breakdown. That alone is not a good sign. The changes themselves were not realistic enough, making us more suspect. As someone who works on residential new builds, this cost breakdown is not as honest as it should be. I would not hire these guys to do any of my sites, and it will be the last time that we use them at our own home.
