Super skilled tattoo artists! Olivier is extremely talented! They really take the time to make sure they can provide you with exactly what you want. There may be a long wait to get a tattoo here but its 100% worth it. Would recommend to everyone!

This year I finally got tattoos and I am very happy I drove a long way to get it done here. Olivier was extremely helpful with assisting me in the creation of the design I had in mind and the whole experience was really good. I got my tattoo done towards the end of July and almost 3 months later I can say it healed perfectly and is looking great! The wait was worth it and I look forward to my next one!

Spearhead Tattoo is THE place to get a tattoo in Montreal if you’re looking for realism. The overall vibe of the shop coupled with the Olivier’s skill makes for a outer worldly experience. I’ve followed Olivier’s work ever since I was around 17 years old, when I was finally ready to start my sleeve I knew he was the man for the job. I was absolutely blown away by his customer service, honesty, dedication, and above all, his skill for tattooing. Olivier is a master at what he does, especially when it comes to shading and creating a design that fully incorporates his ideas and yours. It was a pleasure to be with Olivier for the entirety of my sleeve as it felt like I was truly a part of the process. There was never any pressure to get something and he was always there to reassure me to make sure it’s exactly what i wanted. I’ve been to other tattoo artists before and I can tell that Olivier and Spearhead were different from the second I walked into the shop. His charismatic approach to tattooing is something I was new to and I’m never going back. The tattoo sessions were never too long to maximize your tolerance to the pain (as well as having the best tattoo chair in the business, it actually feels like a luxury bed lol). As for the tattoos themselves, they healed perfectly with no discolouration or need for touch-ups. 10/10 for just that alone. As for the shop, it’s perfectly located on the border of the Old Port, it has ample amounts of parking and is also a 2 minute walk from the metro station Square Victoria Oaci. The second you enter the shop, it doesn’t feel “scary” per day, it feels inviting. Getting a tattoo and meeting an artist can be very nerve-wracking and somewhat intimidating at times, Olivier (along with James) make the overall process very simple as you’re just another person. There is no ego whatsoever and you are treated as if you’ve been friends for years. Olivier or James will always ask you if you want a coffee, a Gatorade, a chocolate, or even if you want to watch Netflix throughout your session. It’s very refreshing as I was used to the cliche heavy metal blasting on the speakers along with waiting 2-3 hours before even seeing your artist. From top to bottom Olivier Desrochers and Spearhead Tattoo is the only place you should go to get a realistic tattoo. It was the most amazing experience of my life and I can’t wait to start my next sleeve in a couple years. From the customer service to the quality of the tattoos, you cannot beat Olivier.

WOW!! Just got a lighthouse done on my calf and I’m more then happy. Perfect is more like it. Ultra clean and super comfy. I was treated like royalty. Oliver is a true artist! Can’t wait for my next project. I truly recommend this place and give ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️?????

I've gotten 2 of my 5 tattoos at this shop and they are by far my best 2 pieces. Both artists are amazingly talented, my artist was James and he killed it both times, I love my pieces. The service is amazing, they offer beverages, comfortable setting, great atmosphere, any music you like....just a great vibe. I will be back for sure!

Love the studio! A really calm and relaxing environment. Always great beats on the speaker. Oh, and the tattoos are pretty great too! James and Oli are fantastic people. Very friendly and welcoming. Always a pleasure being around them. I did my first tattoo here and very happy with my decision. Going to complete a sleeve soon and can't wait! Highly recommended if you have a big project in mind.

Wow!!! i recently did my tattoo here and i am at a loss of words. I really recommend you try this tattoo shop out you wont regret it!! When u walk inside its very welcoming, a feel like your at home. Awesome tattoo shop with some very talented artist! As soon as you walk in, they make you feel at home. It’s a very warm, pleasant, and professional environment. Great location in the old port, with a lot of parking, and options for lunch. James is an amazing artist. The talent he has, has no bounds. His creativity is second to none. I gave him 2 ideas about what I wanted, and with that he was able to design my whole sleeve. Never going to get tattooed by anyone else.
