★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Frustrating to deal with. They take a big deposit off your Credit Card and don't have a date when they will be able to come to resolve the problem. Poor business practice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As well, the technician was professional, but 3.5 weeks of the run around and not to mention waited 2.5 hours for the first tecnition to show up and didn't. Problly the most frustrating experience I've had to deal with a service company. Do yourself a favor and call someone else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spearhead came to my home to prepare a gas fitting quote but even after 3 follow up calls they never actually sent it to me so I had to go elsewhere. The star is for the technician who came to my home. He was very professional.

We had a boiler break down and were without heat or hot water overnight. The next morning I called Spearhead and they asked for a $1500 authorization for a ~1hr service call. I initially declined but they said they wouldn't send the tech unless I gave this authorization. I finally agreed but also said clearly ""I don't want you to charge me if you might not be able to send someone right away." I double confirmed that if they were going to charge my card they needed to send someone that day.
Fast forward, the tech never came that day and I didn't receive communication on this until the end of the day when it was too late to call anyone else. At this point they now said I would have to pay overtime (double) rates, even though they didn't come as agreed during the day.
Tech fixed the problem but I ended up being charged $952 for a 1 hour service call and only $19 of that was for parts.
Not sure why a company chooses to scam their own customers in such a small community as Squamish but it appears this is what they do, especially as the other reviews reflect my experience so perfectly.
Highly recommend you call one of their competitors.
