β β β β β In my experience Spartan Striking Academy is one of the best technical striking gyms in the GTA! Very hi level! All the coaches are amazing and very friendly! I think there is something there for everyone from beginners to fighters in competition, this is the place! Kru Mike, the head coach has a passion I have not seen in a long time! I love his drive and determination to see his students and competing fighters grow and develop. He is a true fighter to his soul, he makes you want to be better and I love that!

β β β β β Iβve never done Muay Thai before, but I was looking for some fun cardio to do. I went in for a trial class and they were super welcoming and helpful when introducing me to everything. The class was high energy and I definitely got a great workout from it. Planning to go back on a weekly basis to stay active and learn more!

β β β β β Incredible workouts (sweat literally dripping), strong focus on technique, and even better instruction. This isn't one of those fitness gyms, it's a real Muay Thai gym (even recognized by Thailand). Michael and the other coaches know what they're doing and help you learn proper technique while pushing you to work hard.
Best of all - it's always a little intimidating starting something new, but the staff and the other members are friendly and make you feel like part of the crew. Highly recommend, will be coming here for a long, long time.

β β β β β Spartan Striking Academy is a fantastic place! All the coaches are very professional, welcoming, and attend to your goals. This place got me to enjoy workouts because of its positive and encouraging atmosphere. So many classes are available for advanced and beginners! Excellent class structure with full-body warmups, pad/bag-work and core work.

β β β β β The Richmond Hill Markham new location is big and spacious. All the instructors are caring about the details to make sure everyone is doing the moves properly from beginners to advanced. It's a fun family environment that gives me a hard workout every single time. I walk out of there sweating and feeling like I worked as hard as I can and more.

β β β β β From day one you could immediately feel the benefits of the conditioning and training provided at Spartan Striking Academy.
The instructors will ease any nerves you might have if this is your first time training in Muay Thai, and the members here make you feel right at home and looking forward to getting back in and training hard! If you keep showing up and putting in the work, this is one of most rewarding journeys you can find yourself on.
Highly recommended for beginners and experienced martial artists alike.

But, Iβm glad to have Micheal as my coach, heβs a coach who teaches his clients as if theyβre in the ring, gives all the good knowledge, heβs such an amazing trainer and a brother. I have been to a lot of martial arts clubs in Toronto, and by far; this is my favourite!
