The Spanish School of Calgary was started in Calgary in the year 2000 by volunteers who believed that knowledge of a language and cultures other than our own is helpful in enhancing every aspect of our lives. We have never heard from the school to start the classes and have tried several times to contact the school to get information or to try to get our money back. My poor son did not get the class he wanted to join plus they stole his money. DO NOT trust this company. They have no issues or remorse for stealing from a child with cancer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been calling and emailing these guys for the longest time THEY DONT ANSWER THE PHONE OR EMAIL I HEARD OTHER PEOPLE SAY THE SAME THING WHOEVER OWNS THIS COMPANY JUST DOESNT CARE I HAVE ALREADY TOLD MANY PEOPLE WHO ARE LOOKING TO LEARN SPANISH STAY AWAY!!!!!!! I have also found out their teachers are incompetent from different students

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took my first class last night. Our teacher was warm and welcoming. I'm having a lot of fun practicing and enjoy the way she taught.
I had an easy time with the registration online. First, I registered on the website using the online form (at the bottom of the classes page) stating the day and class I would be taking. Then I paid using the "buy now" just above on the same page. Within 20 minutes I received a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email, as long as you've paid, you are still registered and should attend classes for the day and time you signed up for.
The small classroom setting is enjoyable. We have a class of 7. Work books were provided instead of an expensive text book being required. They are an additional $20.00. I still like taking notes to help my memory, but the work book is very well made and easy to follow.
I'm impressed with how genuinely welcoming and passionate this Non-Profit is. I have never felt more confidant that I will succeed at learning a new language, and get to enjoy using it.
