Spa Espace Nomad

We experienced an incredible display of poor service and logistical disorganization at Spa Nomad yesterday. My wife and I had booked massage treatments for our 10-year anniversary. My masseuse came to take me for my massage, but my wife’s masseuse never did. My wife waited almost half an hour and when she went to inquire with the receptionists, they were clueless, could not find the masseuse and did not know where he or she was, but assumed they left. My wife left, very upset, as we were looking forward to this massage for weeks. When my massage was done, an hour later, my wife was gone and the receptionists just told me that my wife had left because “the masseuse tried to find my wife but left after 15 minutes of being unable to find her” (which in itself is unbelievable since my wife and I were together in the waiting area when my masseuse came and found me). So after all this, they actually blamed the mishap on my wife being “missing” and took almost no responsibility. I find it unbelievably unacceptable that a place this small could be so incredibly disorganized and unprofessional. How could you forget a client in the waiting area who had checked-in? My wife’s masseuse only had to ask at the reception if her client had checked-in to know she had arrived and was waiting. And vice-verse, how could you leave a client waiting for half an hour and not know that your staff member had left? All I know is my wife is the kind of person who does everything for everyone and never takes time for herself. The one time she does, this is how she was treated and it is unacceptable. We asked to speak to the owner and the receptionists told me that they would have her call me - I am not holding my breath for that phone call, though as I have no confidence they ever told the owner anything about the situation. Part of the reason I am even writing this review is to let the owner know about the incompetence and unprofessionalism her staff demonstrated yesterday. As a small business owner, she should be aware of these issues and attempt to correct them. They did try to offer 25% off my wife’s next massage to appease the situation, but there will not be a next massage at this establishment. Their clear disrespect for their clients and complete lack of logistics and customer service make so that we will never risk having another experience like this. Extremely disappointed by Spa Nomad.

From the super laid back, organic atmosphere with its books, candles, pillows, jewelry situated to make one be comfortable. To the swings at the entrance for one to sit on and relax, and soothing music playing... I have zero complaints. Loved the energy. Loved the massage given, and the smoothie after. As American tourists visiting Montreal for the first time, and my daughter treating me here for my birthday, I loved it. Wholeheartedly recommend this spot!

Awesome. It had been years since I went for a massage, and it was hard to know how to pick where to do it, but everything was so effortless here. Had a wonderful massage from Richard, and I'm sure I'll be back. The juice bar at the entrance is a nice touch to be able to have a little something before heading out.

A gem in the city of Montreal. Very skilled staff and fantastic setting. Very ambient vibe, with chillout music to soothe the senses. Went for their swedish massage and was not disappointed one bit. They absolutely nailed it.

Best massage in Montreal. Located in the plateau/ mile end. Wednesdays you receive 25% off on massages. They also have a little shop with smoothies and vegan treats.

Nice place to get good massage in a relaxing and quiet setting. Booking an appointment was very easy online. Many options available depending on the need. Cute little boutique at the entrance to grab a drink or buy any useful, health-related soothing objets or gift. Helpful staff.
