Our full-time esthetician program provides a calculated balance between theory, practical applications, and the all-important business side of the professional spa industry. Knowing “how” to provide services is only one aspect of this lucrative industry. To excel, the technician must be able to build and maintain a solid client base. This requires a skill set that most technicians are not taught or supported in during traditional beauty school settings. Spa Academy believes in providing the opportunity to develop these skills, along with other business building techniques such as; retailing, upselling and appointment management. This has allowed our students to have the upper hand in this competitive field. By integrating the curriculum with hands on services, our students become more confident in their abilities and better equipped for post-graduation employment. Veronica Lynne-Swirskyis our Director of Education at Spa Academy. She has been a Master Level Esthetics Educator for 25 years and a professionally trained nail technician and esthetician for over 3 decades. She completed her initial training in Canada and received paramedical esthetics training in Germany. She holds a Certified Master Pedicurist designation as well as her Journeyperson Certificate as both Esthetician-Nail Technician and Skin Care Technician.

Nevada Brychun is our Lead Educator for our full-time programs. Her skills and experience have been developed over years of servicing clients in destination and specialty spas, as well as high demand clinical settings. Nevada holds her official designation as Journeyperson in Esthetician-Skin Care Technician, and is recognized as a fully qualified educator in the province of Saskatchewan. Her passion for the industry is clear in her approach and delivery of this high caliber educational program. Supporting her students in their quest of spa intelligence, and business building skills are her gift. Her “no nonsense” but fun personality, allows her students to focus and flourish while maintaining a level of professionalism that will be in demand in this highly competitive industry.
