★ ★ ★ ★ ★ "Eco" depot is a disingenuous name for this facility. There are easily repairable or reusable products piled in the metal recycling that we are prohibited from taking and re-using, roofing, fencing, washing machines, air compressors, lawnmowers, etc. In no reality is re-making these products more "eco" than re-using them. Recently the recycling program has been toughened, and an attendant with an authoritarian streak has been hired. Despite this, we still recycle and put up with the poor attitude, but personally know more than one household that no longer recycles due to the way they are treated at the facility.
