About South Central Cancer Resource
Radon is a colourless, odorless, radioactive gas that is found naturally in the environment and can increase your risk of lung cancer. Radon can enter your home through cracks or gaps in walls or the foundation. According to the Canadian Cancer Society, 24% of homes in Manitoba have radon gas levels higher than Health Canada Standards. We have partnered with local plumbers who can test your home for radon. Please contact our office for assistance in obtaining your own test kit.
