β β β β β Recently visited here for the first time - I had their Lentil and Bacon soup, along with their BLT with cheese. The soup was delicious - hot, flavourful, and filling. The sandwich was almost as good - the bread tasted so fresh, and the ingredients were top notch in their quality.
This is a small location, and parking is fairly limited, but you can find some spots in nearby residential streets. Furthermore, you have the option to take out. The people who run this place are lovely, as well. All in all, a terrific soup and sandwich place that offers great food at a reasonable price - what's not to like?

Great price.
Craving a soup and sandwich, had the best mushroom soup of my life. Followed by the poor boy sandwich which was packed with flavour every bite.
10/10 canβt recommend enough

β β β β β very unpleasant. I went to buy fried chicken beside it, and the smell was really good, so I went into it to buy something they recommend. But I really regret of going into it, cause it ruined my lunch and my mood and my friendβs. the first unpleasant thing is they only accept debit card or cash, which I didnβt take. No Apple Pay and no credit card , so I had to go back to take my debit card to pay for it, which made me to go there twice for one lunch. but the second one came that I bought one tuna melt and one veggie melt, but they wrote wrongly on the two boxes, which lead to me ate the veggie one while tuna was for me. So for my friend who is a vegetarian, he had nothing for lunch. And I called them suggesting that they should make another veggie for me for free because they wrote wrongly on the boxes, and I can take back the tuna melt as it is, which shows that we didnβt eat it. But they say that , when I ate the tuna one I should find there is no tuna immediately, and switch immediately, and they can make another veggie but I have to pay for it,Well, yes, I didnβt tasted the tuna since the first bite, but I didnβt recognize that they wrote wrong for the two boxes, I just thought maybe there is little tuna, which didnβt taste or smell strong, so I didnβt think too much, and finished it. After I already finished it, my friend came to me with the tuna melt in the veggie boxβ¦β¦this is the first time I come and will definitely be the last time. Not recommend. The photos are the tuna melt inside the veggie box.

β β β β β Best sandwiches I ever had. The mushroom soup is bomb! The old couple working here have a lot of character as well. I see all the one stars people leave because they don't appreciate the jokes the couple makes for the experience. Come here if you are hungry and have a strong stomach. There's a subway across the street for weak sauce babies. Cash and debit only. So bring your money.

β β β β β The sandwiches have a nostalgic, homemade style which highlights the quality of the ingredients. I ate the veggie sub and was pleased that it was fresh, yet hearty. The bread and apple cake were both fresh and flavourful. This restaurant has a clear vision of the style of food they want to sell and they execute that vision very well.

β β β β β This place is incredible! The food is always fresh and delicious and the husband & wife owners are fun, friendly, absolutely hilarious. My husband and I have a great time bantering with them when we come in. When you come in you instantly feel like family as they make you feel very welcome, as if you are a guest in their home. Not only that, but they will remember you and if you're anything like me and have a favourite item on the menu, they will remember that too :) Speaking of the menu, they have amazing variety of sandwiches and soup which are made fresh daily, and they even bake their own bread - WHO DOES THAT?!? Overall, I could not say enough great things about these guys, and if you haven't tried this place yet, I highly recommend it - you will not be disappointed!

β β β β β This place is absolutely wonderful. At 29 weeks pregnant all I wanted for lunch was a soup and a sandwich. I came across this place and decided to try it out, boy am I glad I did.
I am pretty sure they have been here for a very long time, it is tun by a very sweet elderly couple. I ordered a veggie and cheese sandwich and the homemade veggie soup. First the soup is definitely homemade and tastes like what your Grandma makes at home with love. The sandwich is made with homemade brown bread and is gigantic. I highly highly recommend this place and will be going back soon.
