Why do you let your staff/volunteers wears the merchandises? One of the cashier girls is wearing a scarf on her head. And there is clearly a price tag on it! I love your store for treasure hunting and friendly staff. But please do your part to keep the merchandise as clean/sanitized as possible.

Had seen some items in the window with price tags before the store was opened for the day. Made a special trip to return after they were open and asked to purchase the items but was told they were sold. Made the suggestion it might be good to put a 'sold' sign out and was shrugged off. I get that things can sell but to the average person an item in a shop/shop window with a price tag on it does generally indicate that the item is for sale. If they were actually sold why were they out on display? Thank you for your response.

Supports a great cause, prices were reasonable and staff were very friendly, especially the middle aged one with the Australian accent

To the management of SOS, the items you have are donated and don’t cost a lot of fortune. Do you honestly expect people who come inside your cramped store to shoplift those old toys, grungy pins, used mugs, rusty cutlery, dusty baskets, smelly linens, and whatnot? Please open your eyes and look around your precious junks and see for yourself if they are really worth stealing for! Your staff behavior is preposterous! I live in Steveston and today I decided to go inside. My 4 year old son was eyeing the hotwheel cars priced less than a loonie each. I allowed him to take what he likes. His tiny hands can handle only 3 so he decided to put them in his jacket pocket innocently. When I noticed this, I asked him to take them out and explained we have to pay for the 5 cars first then offered to hold it for him. Apparently the volunteer already informed the supervisor/manager and both of them stared at us suspiciously while I was still checking some items. It took awhile for me to realize what’s going on and I was embarrassed. I’ll never come back. Goodluck selling your junk!

The prices are no longer low cost , second hand store deals like a small thift store should be. It used to be great 5 dollars for jeans and nice leather coats for 20 to 30 dollars , Unfortunately now it's alot more cost. All costs were ,40 dollars or more and brand name clothes are high priced now. Ever since covid. In 2020 I bought lots from here. Now I can not afford to buy much at all. Thift stores are supposed to stay low cost , keep the locals happy , keep local Buisness going. This place has same high prices as value village does. Sad a local place has raised prices so much on used clothing

The treatment from the staff (student volunteers) is a joke. They will follow you around like a hawk and assume that you’ll be stealing something. You’ll have better luck with the prices and treatment from Value Village and Richmond Hospital Healthcare Auxiliary Thrift Shop. Would not recommend anyone shopping here, stay away!

Prices are though the roof. Don't shop here. I get that everything has gone up but don't market yourself as a thrift store when you're selling things at full retail prices. The thrift store concept is pretty much dying out anyway. What made them great is essentially no longer. I suggest y'all close your brick and mortar and start an ebay account. No longer coming back to this super overpriced store.

During my visit, I found the staff to be very friendly and very helpful. I found some wonderful treasures, and too make it even better the prices couldn't have been better. I will surely revisit this wonderful store in the near future. If you are looking for the great service, great prices then take the time to adventure to this hidden gem.
