Established in 1971, Sopilka has become a trendsetter in the Winnipeg Ukrainian dance community.
About Sopilka Ukrainian Dance School
Sopilka is the proud owner of an extensive costume wardrobe, allowing most students the opportunity to borrow a full costume provided by the school. There are instances however, where a Ukrainian shirt or blouse may be required for certain dances.
Each year, the School continues to build on its costume wardrobe. A Costume Rental Fee is built into Sopilka’s tuition fees in order to pay for regular maintenance of the costumes and provide funding towards the purchase of new pieces. Fundraising activities are a major contributor to this as well.
