Words can not express how helpful Simona was us! She truly was heaven sent. Simona really took the time to help us organize our wedding. We hired her as the day of coordinator but I believe she provided a lot more support. She created a detail schedule and itinerary of our wedding day, she contacted our vendors prior to the date. She was present and helped organize or wedding rehearsal. We had a huge wedding with 400 people and Simona and her team honestly made sure everything was done on time. My family and friends who previously had a day of coordinator said that Simona and her team was the best they have ever witness. I would highly recommend Something Blue if you are looking for a wedding planner. You will not be disappointment!!!!

Simona was incredible!! Without her, our wedding day wouldn’t have ran as smooth as it did! She made sure that everything ran on time, coordinated our family photos, dealt with anything and everything that came up (including a surprise performance!), made sure that we were eating and much more! All of this really contributed to a successful and stress-free wedding day! Aside from the day of the wedding, Simona also met with us a few times in the weeks leading up to the big day to ensure that we were on top of everything. She provided helpful checklists to aid with this part as well! She was also more than happy to answer any questions we had (and we had a lot). On top of that, Simona met with us for our rehearsal and helped lead that along with our officiant. She took notes throughout the rehearsal so that she could direct our parents, bridal party, and us on the day of, which was really reassuring! Simona also worked on our day of schedule with us. Once finalized, she sent it out to all of our vendors which was extremely helpful as timing questions always come up leading up to the big day. Simona was also our representative for any last minute questions our vendors had which was extremely valuable to me as I only had one person to answer to. My husband and I cannot say enough good things about Simona. Our wedding day would not have been as amazing as it was without her. Not only is she super adaptive in her approach, she is also genuinely invested in and cares for her couples! She was more than just a day of coordinator. She was the piece that held everything together! She really reduced our stress in the weeks leading up to the day and provided us with solutions whenever we ran into issues. Future brides and grooms really underestimate the number of small details and stress that starts to creep up leading up to the day. As an organized and detail-oriented person who thought she can handle it all, I am telling you that it gets overwhelming no matter how prepared you think you’ll be!! Trust us, hire Simona. She is worth every penny! A wedding day with Simona as your day of coordinator will 100% result in a successful and stress-free day. It really allowed us to enjoy our day without being concerned with the logistics of the event. P.S. My husband was against getting a day of coordinator for the longest time. Simona is the best wedding planner! After trying and failing to plan my own wedding three times (each time attempt was cancelled due to money issues, family issues, and pandemic issues), I finally hired a wedding planner. I'm soooooooo happy that we found Simona! She is friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and just generally awesome. From day 1, Simona was on top of everything, asking us specific and relevant questions, pointing out what we needed to do ASAP and what could wait, asking us about details that I hadn't even thought of, communicating with all the vendors, and staying on top of everyone - vendors, bride, groom, wedding party - to ensure that the wedding went smoothly and happily. Everyone told me how awesome Simona was, including my hair and make-up artist, DJ, and mother - none of whom are easy to impress. Simona was with us every step of the way. When I had a disagreement with the DJ two days before the wedding, she found us someone new. When I texted Simona on the morning of the wedding to say I was panicking about my hair low lights, the potential for rain in the forecast, and my lack of sleep, Simona wrote back right away to say that my hair artist would emphasize my highlights, Simona would get me an espresso, and she got another tent delivered within the hour. Even as I write this, my sister is commenting that my wedding would have completely fallen apart without Simona. I recommend her 1000%

Simona was such an excellent choice. She helped us consider all the details ahead of the big day and coordinate a timeline for all the vendors to refer to. Her ability to listen, advise, coach and gently whisper “you’re up in 5 minutes okay?” led to a wedding day that unfolded perfectly. Simona is fun, super organized, proactive and prepared. She’s seen it all and is ready to step in wherever she’s needed. The entire wedding party voted her the best ever!

Over and Above...Beyond our expectations! Simona is a true professional with a heart of gold.... It is difficult to put a value on the work and stress that Simona saved us from start to finish. Simona's experience, guidance, knowledge and calm demeanor was invaluable to our wedding planning. Nothing was impossible; everything was doable. With Simona's help, we were able to put together a flawless event in 2 months on a scale that would take most people 6-8 months. The attention to detail ensured perfection; nothing was forgotten. Simona was on top of every task and detail, and given the extreme timeline with a lot of moving parts, this was impressive. Certainly “top of class” and all with a smile. Many of our guests described our evening as “magical”. A million thanks to Simona and her team!!

Simona and Cynthia!! How can I thank you both enough?! You guys were absolute rock stars. From the moment I reached out to Simona she was incredible. So so helpful and reassuring. Simona came in and made my life so much easier and less stressful the month before my wedding. By far the best investment for our big day! I couldn't imagine doing everything she did by myself! She made me feel calm and collected the day of my wedding. Set up was exactly how I pictured it, our day was flawless. Cynthia took over around dinner and didn't skip a beat. They're both like wedding ninjas lol. I will never be able to Thank you both enough for everything you did.

Simona and Vanessa completely exceeded my expectations on my wedding day! From the planning to the execution, they were extremely attentive and on top of everything, making the day run so smoothly and without any worry. They delivered on things I never even thought of, always making sure me and my husband were hydrated, in good spirit, ready for the next thing on the timeline, helping fix my dress, holding my train, anything you can think of, they were there always! Things that you don't anticipate needing a hand with, they are there at every given moment. They truly helped us feel at ease and most importantly, enjoy our wedding day to the fullest. There was constant communication and both ladies were extremely reliable and proactive! I cannot thank you enough for the amazing experience. Thank you Simona and Vanessa for all your hard work!

I cannot say enough positive things about Something Blue Wedding and Events. My fiancé and I weren't originally convinced we should hire a day-of-coordinator for our backyard wedding but we now both agree that having Cynthia there was the BEST decision we made while planning. Simona and Cynthia were incredible to work with. Leading up to the event, they provided us with organizational templates, refined details, and constructed our timeline. They touched base with all of our vendors before the event, leaving us to enjoy the lead up to our big day without any stress. On the day of the wedding, Cynthia showed up early and immediately began setting up. She coordinated my family members, the vendors, set up the decor perfectly, and even made sure I ate and drank throughout the day. Our wedding would not have been the same without her. She dealt with so many things- large and small, which allowed us to sit back and enjoy. She was also just a delight to be around. Almost all of my guests commented on how great she was, and even though she was working so hard, she was still smiling and having fun! If you are on the fence about hiring Something Blue, I STRONGLY encourage you to do it. Our day was perfect because of them!!! They are truly remarkable at what they do.
