Somerset Pumpkin Farms - Parkland County

This farm was lots of fun for the family. Picking all the different kinds of pumpkins. They have lots of variety for different purposes. They had slides and stuff for the children. Definitely a nice place to visit.

We have been visiting Somerset Farms for years now. It's a highlight of the end of summer to get to walk through the fields and pick our own pumpkins. Kate and her family are outstanding, warm, welcoming people. I would highly recommend giving them a visit.

Six years I was their first customer, and I’ve been hooked ever since! What a gem for the Parkland Area. The owners of Somerset are so kind and passionate about what they do. I love that every time I visit I learn something new. Kate is a very gifted individual that is a pleasure to interact with. Stephen (husband) and kids are always there to lend a hand, and Harry and Nancy are so helpful and good for some laughs. The hard work and give back to the community does not unnoticed, as everyone knows just how hard and unpredictable farming can be. The production of their pumpkins and other crops is outstanding. I’ve purchased pumpkins that have lasted me an entire year! I highly recommend trying many of the varieties, including the squash. My family uses the pumpkins to carve for Halloween, but also to cook and bake with. Check out their Facebook and Instagram for recipes and tips, and as well for events and activities on hand. If you go during Pumpkin picking season you can also get farm fresh eggs, local honey from down the road, sunflowers, and more! They have little play areas for the kids and so many spots for photos. It’s truly a great place for all ages, and in Winter too! You can rent fire pits and enjoy the use of trails on their land. Prices are reasonable, and the farm is so clean. Can’t be beat!

Beautiful place to spend a fall day! Wonderful people and a great variety of pumpkins for eating or decorating.

What an amazing place run by a wonderful family. We went for open farm days and booked in for the pumpkin patch. We learned so much about different varietals, farm equipment, irrigation, all while taking in such a beautiful space. We can't wait to bring our little one back here year after year. Nana also makes the cutest pumpkin hats!

Fun place to visit to pick a few pumpkins. You'd need an hour at most. Friendly, helpful owners, I especially liked the grandma:-)

This was my third year picking pumpkins at Somerset Farms, and as always it was a great experience! The variety of pumpkins to choose from is impressive, the cute extras for kids are so fun (we love the hay bale bear), and I really appreciate the ticketing system so that it's never crowded. We'll be back again year after year for our pumpkins and for a treasured end of summer tradition!

This is our second year visiting Somerset! To say it is one of our favorite family outings is an understatement. It is evident that Kate and her dynamic crew work hard to provide an incredible experience for everyone. We appreciate the time taken to educate on how to cure, cook and use the variety of pumpkins and squash. Thank you for creating this beautiful oasis for us all to enjoy!
