★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mid May 2022. Start the trail at the ORTA Dufferin curbside parking spot to the Senecca Lake and back. Missed the Oakridge Trail in this instance. Nice 2 hours hike in the sunny day. The Senecca trail parking is feeable anyhow when journey begin there. It has the advantage of skipping the busy, noisy, dusty Dufferin car generated nuisance especially concerning for seniors and kids.?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very beautiful trail with some elevation up and down. We took the part from Dufferin to Keel back and forth and it took us 2 hours- perfect time for 6 y old kid and dog to get tired :) very well maintained trail and not boring.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful trail which you can enjoy going uphills and downhills into the wood and walking through in the meadow as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The trail and the land it's on is owned by nearby Seneca College - King Campus, but they allow the public to use it for hiking. It's a nice little trail leading up to the lake next to the college campus. Not accessible to people with strollers or disabilities, but otherwise an easy and straightforward trail. It's also patrolled by campus security guards. There is a notice warning people about ticks, but as long at you stay on the path you should be relatively fine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice hike, not too difficult. It rained the day before so the ground was very wet and soggy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Still beautiful even in the desolate winter! Serene, well maintained footpaths with varied side trails and trail blazers for directions. Family friendly and ample roadside parking. Not appropriate for mobility aids and/or young children unless able to navigate narrow paths, bridges & gentle slopes. Look for the Oak Ridges green posts on either side of Keele St, with the east side leading to Pine Farms!
Happy Hiking!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this trail. Usualy not too crowded. Good mix of altitude change (not much, enough for a bit of aerobic exercise), walking through woods and enjoying open fields. Great snowshoeing trail. Watch out for ticks in the summer.
