★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to go all year round. Best trail in Richmond Hill. The pathway around the lake is just spectacular and fun to walk. Most beautiful in fall, frozen in winter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty nice park. Autumn is the right time to go hiking in this area. There is a extra trail that is not shown on the map (divergent path on point 13th) but it is a real perfect for walking. The only disappointment is the inconvenience of parking due to the small parking lot.

I do not recommend for seniors and small kids.
The parking spots are limited.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is gorgeous year round, but especially in the autumn. Definitely a hidden gem. Once you’re walking through the trails, it doesn’t feel as if you’re in Richmond Hill anymore.
Highly recommend visiting in the winter as well and walking across the frozen lake!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Place to walk but very painful and limited parking lot.
GTA is big and wide. But when you want to take family outdoor for a weekend, you need to search really hard to find a big and wide place. Hopefully our "government" can make more big park available for people to enjoy outdoor. Of course, a lot of small trails available. I am talking about an outdoor place to spend hours and hours.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reserve area, very clean waters lake, surrounded by old trees forest. Fantastic place to walk in winter or summer. Lately because of covid is overcrowded and visitors from other cities are littering a lot and not trying to protect this oasis of pure nature. Hopefully will come back to normal soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ it has beautiful trails along the lake or up around. the parking lot is small, it has limited parking, if you wait, you can get a spot not too long. you can also Park along the road. If you go in the winter time it is better to wear appropriate Footwear or bring a hiking stick. these help you walk on steep slopes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty, quiet lake with some walking trails around. 8-10min walk from a bus-stop, so not too difficult to reach by public transport. Good place to visit if you want to be in a quiet, peaceful place without any crowds/shops around.
