H	Hanish K on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant will definitely gives you the fancy vibes it aims for. I was there for the valentines weekend so the menu was pre-set. I am vegetarian so there weren’t that many options. The only veggie main was risotto, which was creamy and delicious. For the desert I tried a chocolate mouse. The service was spectacular. I would definitely return to try some of their other options from the regular menu.

Kirk was first to greet my party, he was helpful & well informed. He sat us on the pop up patio out front and introduced us to our server. James took care of our table - he had great suggestions for food which we appreciated & kept the drinks flowing one after the next. I recommend Sofia for their delicious food and excellent service. Thank you to the whole team!
S	Sarah L on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our experience at Sofia’s was amazing! The atmosphere is warm from the dimmed lights and the busy buzz made it feel very alive. The dress code was probably the most dressed up group of people out of all the restaurants I’ve been to. Food was really great as well — we had a few dishes but the pasta was great and so was the steak although for the price, I would’ve thought you’d get more than 5 pieces! Overall, a very nice restaurant, it checks off in every category!

I will recommend for a date night with your special someone and also a girls night out restaurant. But definitely go after 8pm on the weekends because it is a vibe and they have a huge bar.

Unfortunately, the fried seafood app was disappointing, the batter not quite seasoned and the seafood was just small chopped up pieces. The pastas were good, borderline undercooked but nice and al dente at the same time. Seasoned well and good portions, but also nothing mind blowing. Would return to try other items.

E	Ed Ongpauco on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went out with my wife for an “After Valentines Day” dinner at Sofia’s Yorkville to avoid crowds. I reserved on “Open Table” back in January anticipating challenges with availability. Restaurant was beautiful, Server was knowledgable and the food portion and taste was great. Only thing was next time I will call ahead to ensure we are seated in the dining room instead of the bar area even after reserving with ample time. It was gorgeous but the circular table was very small, slightly lower than typical dining tables and full of items when we sat down (2 wine glasses, 2 water glasses, a bread plate with napkin and utensils and a small 6inch tall lamp). As soon as the hostess placed the menu in front of us, which were long, on the table, a glass was knocked over and broke when the menu was opened. The plus side was that 2-3 staff immediately cleaned it all up and replaced everything. The server said it happens far too often - not sure if he’s saving me from embarrassment or genuinely annoyed that management hasn’t changed their set up. Overall, great upscale restaurant. We would go back.
