They helped me when I was little, I owe them one for my success in school, and for helping me with reading, counting, and for the fun interactions with other kids my age at the time.

Poorly managed, understaffed, supervisors don't bother to help staff. Not to mention other recent negative reviews have recently mysteriously disappeared.

I always feel supported! I have opportunity to learn from and be supported by a multi-disciplinary team of psychologists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists and teachers. Not to mention how amazing it is to see and be a part of children making gains that significantly impact their quality of life.

Great organization to work for. Super supported by all team members. Work environment was fun and easy going but professional at the same time. Supervisors were accommodating to different needs and allowed for flexibility. I gained extensive experience from all my co-workers.

I worked at STA for almost two years as an SLP. There is support whenever needed in every area, professionally and personally. The company focuses on great care for clients and having happy employees. Management is very open to ideas and thoughts every employee has. Initially, there is a steep learning curve but all the professionals are there to provide as much help as needed. STA allowed me to strengthen my skill-set in an area of work I am truly passionate about. I would recommend this company to all those who enjoy working with children/adolescents with disabilities and enjoy working with a team! Show Less

This review is for the adult counselling service. Staff are nice people but if you're seeking to address trauma in therapy, look elsewhere.

I've had the most traumatic experience with this place. As an autistic adult and mother of an autistic kid I don't recommend this place. Open to talk and explain if the information will help other families to don't go through what my family went through.

Staff are prepared to get hurt at any given time. I was one of the lucky staff that stayed on the good side of management. However, I’ve watched long term staff being written up/fired and not protected over circumstances that were out of their control entirely, and could have happened to anyone. This became too common. My exit interview was greeted with question and defensiveness. There are steps to improve team moral and wanted to create a safe place to be heard, but this is not the case. This is easily the most mentally and physically exhausting thing I’ve done. There needs to be an HR and a safer structure for staff.
