About Sobeys Liquor University
A proudly Canadian company with more than 110 years in the food business, Sobeys Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Empire Company Limited, headquartered in Stellarton, Nova Scotia. The Sobeys name is synonymous with quality and passion. Now we’ve brought it to liquor stores across Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan. Here’s how: in 1993, the Alberta Provincial Government announced the privatization of the liquor retail industry. Capitalizing on this important change, we launched Western Cellars, which opened its first location in Spruce Grove in November 1995. In 2014 Sobeys Liquor acquired Safeway Wine & Spirits. Since then, we’ve grown steadily to over 100 locations across Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I hate to complain but last night me and my girlfriend went to buy a box of wine at the sobeys liquor store close to our place, we usually shop there all the time!, we came home to cook and have some wine, unfortunately the wine was very sour and tasted like vinegar, we decided to comeback to the store and try to exchange it for a different box, unfortunately my gf didn’t keep the receipt and the supervisor told us that there’s nothing they can do without a receipt, we ended up buying another box from a different brand and left the bad one there, this time the wine was perfect, im just wondering if there’s anything we can do to get our money refunded from the first box of wine?, we have the transaction record on her bank account but apparently that doesn’t help, I checked the SOBEYS refund policy on the website and it says:
A: Sobeys has a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Promising 100% satisfaction and “no excuses,” the guarantee ensures money back or a free replacement on any item that left a customer unsatisfied for any reason.
Update: they refunded me with a gift card!, thanks sobeys customer service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You have to get your"Air Miles" program right. Never fails..what gives..The Store is great, fully satisfied..but when I go to redeem my Air Miles card their is always a situation@ the it puts a damper on the experience at hand.It"a no big deal.
