Update: Didn't have lye... Well did have lye in the back room but wouldn't get it for me because it was raining out. If she would have explained why she couldn't get said lye because of the rain it may be a different review. I am aware when lye mixes with water it causes a chemical reaction but at no point the woman, or myself with uncontained lye would have been exposed to water until the lye was sealed in a container. In the end, I went to home hardware, purchased lye, and made some wonderful soap. Didn't have lye. Will be getting it from home hardware from now on

One of the most unique and interesting shops I've ever been in. Staff is amazing and knowledgeable about everything in their shop! I love this place! I highly recommended to all who are looking for something different and unique gifts. They don't just sell soap! ?

Extremely friendly and helpful, I was really happy with the customer service that I received. The staff is really knowledgeable about all the products in the store and willing to answer any questions the customers might have. The store is well lit and the atmosphere is laid back, and calming. Even they're long time customers are extremely friendly and helpful. The products are all natural, no paraben, sulfates, or other chemicals. Which is great for some like me, who has extremely sensitive skin and who's skin reacts to almost everything. I bought the scent free shampoo and conditioner, and it's fantastic. It adds volume to my hair, doesn't leave a residue, adds shine, my scalp isn't reacting to it and my hair feels silky soft and looks healthy. They also sell laundry soap, bubble bath, and body wash. As well as locally made soap, and candles. I bought the laundry soap to try and it works really well. It cleans the laundry, even the tough stains, and doesn't cause a reaction. They're products are also great for the environmentally conscious consumer. They sell a wide arrangement of crystals, himalayan salt lamps, jewelry, and essential oils as well. I highly recommended The Soap Exchange.

My go-to for all crystal shopping needs! I have brought my best friend as well as mother in law here and they loved it just as much as I did. Best quality as well as pricing in town. Thanks so much!
