I’ve been having a mis-firing problem with my Jeep, wasn’t sure what’s going on. But it also needed a new distributor which I knew. So I took it to snowman, dropped my keys off with the girl, left, and came back when it was ready to go. My Jeep started up and everything was great besides the mis-firing sti, I drove it home which is maybe 5 minutes away, popped the hook to inspect, the old one was leaking oil, so the old oil wasn’t cleaned off around the area, and the base plate to attach the distributor to the motor had a big crack down it, which I know was not there when I provided the part. So I phone and complained so Kody said to bring it down, I did. And he kept assuring me that his techs wouldn’t let it out of the shop like that, well they did, so I ordered a replacement one. And it’s still having the mis-firing problem at this point, he took it for a test drive himself. Couldn’t figure out what it was doing, didn’t hook up a code reader or anything he just kept making suggestions and wanted me to un hook all this stuff and bring it back yet again. So I decided that was my time to walk away from this shop, I left there and instantly drove it over to a shop close by and they hooked up a code reader, and within 5 minutes they narrowed down my mis-fire problem (ended up being spark plugs) and when I explained to them the nightmare I had had with my distributor, they also said the old oil should have been cleaned and that base plate is for grounding it so it should not be cracked. I paid snowman $100 to have the work done for NOTHING, in the end I had to re-pay a different shop to fix their screw up. Owner is a nice guy but honesty I don’t think too knowledgeable, I’m not a mechanic myself but I know a little, he kept trying to say that my head gasket has gone too, which I know it has not. So personally I would never recommend snowman automotive to anyone, they cause me nothing but a headache and I paid them $100 in labour fees which is basically down the drain for me. So do not go here unless you want your money wasted! I’m so mad

Kody and the entire team at snowman are absolutely amazing! I drive all the way from Kelowna to get my vehicle worked on by them. They go above and beyond for all their clients. When you first walk in you are greeted by their lovely office manager and totally feel at home there. Kody has built this business from the ground up and it shows. It’s not like a big mechanic shop where you feel like just another pay check to them. They all are there to listen and help with any and all concerns you have! I was quoted over $3000 for my air conditioning to be fixed and snowman did it for a fraction on the cost! Thank you so much snowman for giving high quality service at a great affordable price!

Kody at Snowman refused to honor work he had done to my vehicle. He rebuit the differential of my car. I put on less than 200 kms following this repair when I noticed a significant oil leak coming from the differential. Kody wanted to charge again to fix the leak! I'm not happy and will not be returning to Snowman.

I sent my teenage daughter to this location a few months back. With my untrained eye making assumptions, I felt she had an issue with her car and needed it looked at. I sent her in on her own and the staff there had her car the whole day doing all sorts of tests. They took the time to show her and explained well what they thought I was worried about. They felt confident the car had no issues and reassured her the car was safe to drive. They didn't suggest she get other unrelated work done nor try to up sell her. Its been a few months now and they were right. The problem I thought was with the car was simply the A/C cooling down after a hot day and condensation on the drive. My daughter tells me much later when we recently brought this up in conversation, they even offered for her to call them and they would be there for her in case she couldn't reach any one she trusts in the future if she ever did break down. I don't know of any other business these days that takes so much pride in honest work. My daughter was expecting the worst with her car and got the best customer service! Thanks every one at Snowman for looking after my girl.
