C	Chris Graham on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The livery of the store front of Nyu Snackhut is quite visible, so I decided to pop in and have a look. The store sells chips, snacks and candy focussed on Asian brands. Some of the Japanese brands looked familar, however, there was a very wide array which encompassed Chinese and Korean brands too. The store is quite snug if you have wide shoulders. You do have to be careful on the expiry dates so perhaps inventory control is required. The assistant was friendly and efficient. The prices appeared to be a little on the higher side, yet, I came in to try something different.

I paid cash and the stuff says she doesn’t have enough changes so I switch to debit card, then she told me I have to pay 1% fee for using debit card. THIS IS NOT MY FAULT THAT YOU DON’T HAVE ENOUGH CHANGES! Its not about that 1% charge, its about this ridiculous “store rule”.

I didn't know about the existence of Fiber coke until visiting this place! They give off a warehouse feel because the shop is too small to even act as a proper convenience/snack store. I had to switch aisles every time someone was approaching from the opposite end of the aisle I was on. It's just too tight! Upon closer inspection, some items(chocolate) we're expired. For some items, (soda/pop) it's not the biggest deal but for others it's a deal breaker. I wouldn't rely on this store for a snack party. I am grateful for the variety and subsequent discovery though which is why I'm granting 2 stars.
