★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very professional and great at what they do! It was my daughters first time at the dentist and she was a bit nervous but the staff did a wonderful job and making her feel so comfortable. She’s now so excited to back for her next appointment !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We brought our 2 children for their first ever dental appointments at age 1 and 2 and the staff and doctor were very friendly and accommodating and made the experience as easy as possible. I would recommend this clinic to children of any age!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great with the kids! Very gentle and slow. TVs on the ceiling and headphones to distract the kids to watch a show while they do their checkup. My daughter received a little toy after her checkup and chose a Disney Princess toothbrush. The walls are all painted like the ocean which gives the dentists office a very comforting feeling for the kids.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a beautifully build clinic for kids. We went for Dr. Kanani. He is very kind, supportive and patient with kids, specially in our case as my son has autism and he is super scared to go to dentists. But Dr Kanani and his team does an excellent job keeping him calm as much as they can. As a mother, I am satisfied with our experience and really thankful to the team for their patience with my son. Dr Kanani also let my son to pick up his favourite toy from their toy collection after the treatment just to help him calm and feel good afterwards. That’s a really kind gesture. Definitely recommend this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beware, my daughter had a cleaning and X-ray a few months ago. I was told she had 7 cavities and was probably needing a root canal. It was either suggested that she be put under which would cost us $3000 or do 4 separate appointments with mandatory laughing gas which was $1500. We have excellent benefits so these prices seemed ridiculous to me. They also wanted to refer her to an orthodontist because of her bottom teeth but she is only 6 years old. I chose to do nothing because I didn’t trust what I was hearing so I took my daughter to another dentist to get a second option. So she only has 1 cavity, no root canal needed and it will cost $39 to do the filling after our benefits. No orthodontist until she’s around 11 years old. Trust your instincts and don’t believe everything they tell you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Doctor Kanani is hands down the best dentist I have ever met. He is so kind and caring. You can feel the genuine love he has for children. The staff are extraordinary. They make you feel welcome and they make every child feel special and important. The staff are gentle and considerate of the fact that going to the dentist can be a scary thing for little people. I am so glad I switched to Smiletown and I would highly recommend their clinic.
