n	notdrphilswaifu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So, this place was kinda mind-blowing, it seems like a really nice family atmosphere. But several people were not wearing masks and were paying and walking around the restaurant and through the doors with no mask on. I know for a fact that you're supposed to wear a mask when you're paying and leaving any eating establishment. The cook of the actual place was not wearing a mask when cooking the food. The owner of the place was very nice but she was wearing a mouth Shield that I only saw her put on when I would walk into the establishment. I saw her talking to customers with no mask or mouth shield, nothing. I was very frightened from my trip there but I thought the food was going to be good so I wasn't going to let that ruin my time. Then we got the food which was very overpriced we didn't get the proper portion that was advertised for the fish. It was supposed to come with a roll but was instead a piece of Wonder bread with butter. The fish had bones in it and still have the skin on. Was a little surprised to see the fish wasn't battered, I think they should advertise that the fish does not come battered. The place was already closed by the time we had gotten our take out so we never called and complained but definitely would have if we were not leaving camping the next day.

The sides are all homemade and packed with flavour. The service is very down to earth, fast and full of great humour. The atmosphere is very welcoming and beautifully decorated. My favourite fish and chips location and I will absolutely continue to come back until they’re sick of me lol.

Here you will get tasty home food and amazingly awesome desserts! We live pretty far from this place, but desserts are really worth returning.

I find the food to be as good, as well prepared, as well presented and just as tasty as any fancy bistro in a major city. I only come to town for a week once a year to do some work. This is one of the highlights I look forward to when in town. I would recommend it to anybody, you will not be disappointed. My only disappointment is that I am only here for a week each year?. I would also like to add a note for the people who have reviewed this place with low numbers. I think the purpose of these reviews is to rate the restaurant and the food. Your Covid related comments are kind of out of place. Just think about the people who earn a living and put a great effort into this. Covid is on the tail end a lot of places weren’t enforcing it strictly. So I would suggest you get off your high horse go back and edit your reviews and show some respect for these hard-working people who put out such great food. Thx again Diane and staff.

C	Chris Soper on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Diane and her staff provide great service and delicious food. Her Sunday breakfasts are wonderful and you wont go home hungry. She uses only whole foods with no additives or preservatives and she grows a lot of her own ingredients in season. Wonderful fish and chips and the Club House is one of my favourites.
