★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great event today with the Boreal Forest. Something for everyone, with Science North showing us the stars from Anishnawbe perspective. Many kids, parents and grandparents enjoyed the show. Sweet North Bakery's variety of grilled cheese were delicious. Displays, conversation, cinnamon buns, and oh yes beer. Thanks Sleeping Giant Brewery!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sleeping giant brewery is a great local spot to go have a beer and relax, or to stop in to the store or taps for full variety. They have interesting and informative tours of the brewery, a variety of beer to choose from, and they feature local products and cans for taking home in their store! There is no restaurant on site but they do have grab-n-go snacks and they allow you to bring food inside.
I have also worked with them as a vendor for a restaurant in town and they are a pleasure to deal with.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great business. Great beer. The tap room has a welcoming atmosphere. Whenever I get to visit Thunder Bay I try to find a way to stop in and see whats new.
Lots of interesting merchandise and the place is dog friendly

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great venue for hosting an event. Interesting design and decor and everyone was super friendly. Wide ranging selection of good beers of all types. Only serve a few snacks, so not a place for a meal, just to go enjoy a social brew. Large gift shop with lots of great beer based items.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great atmosphere in the brewery, low lighting and a mix of warm wood and industrial elements. I especially like the area upstairs as it's a bit more out of the way. Lots of interesting and seasonal/limited beers to try, and Tawse cider on tap if you prefer that.
