I like piano classes because you can learn a new thing which is piano. You can also have fun with the songs you are playing. Lisa is a fantastic piano teacher because she teaches students how to get better at music and learn more of it. I like learning piano because I learn more things about the piano, and some of the piano songs are catchy and beautiful. I like playing the piano because you can learn about accidentals which is in theory. The piano theory books let you think more deeply about piano, and if you make a mistake you can learn from it. Lisa is a unique and bright teacher.

They also offer guitar, drum, bass, keyboard, and organ lessons and also house a location in Airdrie. All staff were not only knowledgeable, but very friendly and professional as well. Highly recommend for those in the Calgary area that are interested in learning more about music!

They are gifted with and passionate about what they do. My daughter came to Skyline 1.5 years ago and increased 3 higher level RCM piano levels in that time (all over 80%, a First Class Honours). She also completed all her RCM theory with nothing under 90%! Clearly, she was being under/poorly taught and not reaching her musical potential with previous teachers. She is not only excited to go to class, she loves to practice because she see's her hard work paying off. She is excited to stay with Skyline as she completes Level 9 piano this summer and advances on to RCM Level 10.

When she aged out of the group lessons, my daughter was seriously thinking about stopping lessons altogether. Lisa mentioned that we could try some individual lessons just for fun, with no pressure. Years later, by her own decision, my daughter decided to start on the RCM track and is looking to take the Grade 5 practical and theory exams in April 2017. Lisa's enthusiasm and joy made it fun and enjoyable for my daughter. If you're looking for a drill instructor of a teacher, this might not work for you. But if you're looking to keep your kids interested, enthused, and enjoying music lessons in Calgary or Airdrie, you can't go wrong.

Both Lisa and Russ are nurturing teachers who inspire a love of music in their students. They are especially suited for younger students. I highly recommend Lisa and Russ and the rest of the staff at Skyline Music.

The studio is welcoming and inviting and we love the red piano. They offer other lessons such as guitar, organ, drums etc which is a one stop shop for all of your musical needs. The best piano teacher in Calgary and Airdrie, I highly recommend her and her studio.

Lisa is very good at keeping her student interested in learning music with her positive attitude. This year I have my 6 years old daughter started her piano lessons with Lisa. Both of my kids have lots of fun and enjoyment learning music at Skyline Music. They have also express interests in taking guitar lessons and organ lessons in the future. Skyline Music has recently opened a new location in Airdrie. I strongly recommend Skyline for fun and positive music learning experience.
