★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been to skinny’s several times now and I have yet to leave feeling like I had anything other than the best service, drinks and food. The staff feel more like your friends, they’re helpful in suggesting food and drinks and seem to always be having just as good of a time as we are. The theme of course is cool as hell and totally unique, it’s definitely become one of our favourite places in town!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is absolutely iconic. My partner and I came to celebrate their graduation, and one of the servers who came with our drinks congratulated them on their graduation as well. The drinks were absolutely incredible and the food was quite literally to die for - I would play in traffic for the Polly pizza. Our server also had the coolest outfit on and I would like to personally compliment those pants that she was wearing (red/pink flare pants, might have been corduroys and she had longer brown hair). It totally amplified the vibe - speaking of which, the vibes were immaculate. This is officially mine and my partner's new favourite date spot. Thank you guys for the amazing night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was in with family from out of town, we ordered dumplings, pizza and a few other Asian fusion dishes that were so good! Our waitress Kennedy took really good care of us, she made all our cocktails and recommended some off the menu drinks with our flavour preferences. Can’t wait to come back, food was great, service was even better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Instagram Worthy! Both the food and the restaurant its self. Which I failed to take photos of. A 70's vibe from the tv table trays, crushed Velvet couch, vintage light fixtures, conversation seating, etc... Even the serving staff served up vibes. Pictured from left to right, Short Rib then mussels. Both unreal with the short rib so tender. Mussels straight fresh from the ocean with a flavorful sauce. Very generous portions regarding both dishes. Book a reso because it gets busy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just love this place so much. A nostalgic trip back to the late 70's/early 80's with a funky vibe. When I first came here, I expected a pretty standard menu, but the food is amazing and different! Reservations recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Holy deliciousness! Went for dinner and wanted to try a few different things. We got the fried chicken and biscuits, lemongrass dry ribs with rice, and the Amelia pizza. We were not disappointed, everything was delicious. Part of me thinks we got the best items on the menu, because I will happy eat them again and again, but the other part of me seriously believes that everything at this place is probably amazing.
Truly impressed with the fair prices for the portion you get, you won't leave hungry. Every dish was also very flavourful and well thought out. The pizza had pickled onions that weren't overpowering, the fried chicken had a fresh slaw and not too salty gravy, and the ribs came with jasmine rice with a coconut milk curry sauce that completed the dish.
It also happened to be my birthday and the server was kind enough to offer me a birthday treat.
Overall, fantastic place for the comfy environment and seating, kind staff, unique drinks, and dishes that all deserve a chefs kiss.
As much as I loved what I got, I know I'll keep coming back to try everything! Eat here, don't question it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We LOVED Skinny Duke’s! What an awesome atmosphere and theme. You may think of it as a “dive bar” but it’s so much more than that. It was honestly a step back in time, but with super modern and delicious food. Drinks are very classic and there is incense burning. There is so much memorabilia to look at - great conversation starters. Go here for a fun and unique experience. Also, the servers were top notch ??
