★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great to be able to stand at the top of a true Olympic ski jump. Something like 450 steps to get to the first stopping point. Very tough to walk up. Not recommended for small dogs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went up to the site of some of the 2010 winter Olympics at Callahan Valley. We were surprised when they wanted $10 for the car load and almost turned around. We found out the money goes to support the athletes so we decided to pay and head up. It was almost deserted which was sad but allowed us to roam all over with no crowds. We hiked up the ski jumps including the stairs on the lower section and the trail up to the very top which was a good workout. Standing up top it is crazy to think people actually launching themselves down these jumps. Impressive too see first hand.
