โ โ โ โ โ This company are all a bunch of thieves. They are not professional at all!! They are extremely clueless. They don't return calls, they just don't care!! It's better to just find a different contractor to get your job done! Horrible!! Run away!! Don't waste your money here!

โ โ โ โ โ I would strongly recommend SJOC. We hired the company to manage and execute a significant interior/exterior renovation of our century old house in Toronto. The job required special attention to the unique needs of an old house (i.e. old construction methods, period architecture and materials). The job also required that SJOC work closely in co-operation with our designer and many independent, specialty trades (i.e. millworker, wood carver, stained glass artist, etc.). To succeed in this respect, SJOC remained very focused on details throughout the project. They were extremely organized and patient, and they employed excellent communication skills. Moreover, they demonstrated total competence in the construction matters that they undertook. Notably, SJOC seems to follow new developments in the field of construction in order to recommend new products/materials where appropriate. Professional, on time and on budget. Demonstrated accountably. I would use SJOC again.

โ โ โ โ โ One week before the spring lockdown, our kitchen and dining room were demolished in anticipation of a major renovation on our main floor. We were in a panic. How would we manage during a pandemic? The SJOC team ensured that we managed with as little stress as possible in those difficult beginning days. We were sealed off completely from all the trades with plastic, zippered barriers. Our Foreman, Don, made sure we were kept safe the entire time by going over and above the call of duty relating to the safety requirements. During the next months, all efforts were made to keep our project moving along.
How did it all end? With an amazing renovation that we are enjoying every day, all day, 24/7! The SJOC team ensured that all workmanship was of the highest order. There were no surprises and no overcharges, quite unusual these days. The site was cleaned every day, trades observed best pandemic practices, our Project Manager answered our emails and calls promptly and efficiently. I don't think anyone could ask for more and we will certainly work with SJOC in the future!

Throughout our whole renovation project, they provided excellent customer service and project management, working with care, respect, and great attention to detail. We were also extremely impressed with the skill and quality of work of the individual tradespeople and professionals that SJOC brought in to complete our renovation.

โ โ โ โ โ We selected SJOC Construction due to their expertise in condo renovations. We renovated in a historic building, which has many charms, but also comes with unique challenges. Further complicating matters, we renovated during the Covid pandemic, which exacerbated logistical issues related to supply chain, operations, etc.
SJOC managed building and neighbour relations exceptionally well - we didnโt receive any building complaints during the process. The budget was adhered to and there were no surprises in this regard. Finally, there was great care placed on quality of construction, attention to detail and responsiveness to clients, right through to the deficiency review process.
We are very pleased with the outcome and would highly recommend SJOC Construction.

โ โ โ โ โ If you are a contractor and you want to do business with this company, you need a FANCY lawyer so you can get your money because you need at least a year to get paid for one job. And at the end, they wonโt even give you the full amount, they will make sure that they deduct thousands of dollars so you can get a cheque. And of course you have to agree so you can get a part amount of your money. The problem is you have to deal with different employees every week because no one lasts more than 2 weeks with them. Therefore. you have to explain your situation every single time.

They finished our home renovation in record time and sent updates multiple times a day. Bernardo, Diego and the entire team are so friendly and understanding. They were available at all times and responded to any questions quickly and efficiently. We will definitely hire them again if we have any further renovations!
