About Sit Saskatoon

Vicki has supported mental health and wellbeing in a range of capacities including individual and group counselling, workshops, training, and consulting. Key focus areas have included coping, resilience, eating and body image, peer assistance, and enhanced work and learning environments. 

Vicki has extensive training through the Center for Mindfulness, University of Massachusetts Medical School and the Mindfulness Center at Brown University and is a Certified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Teacher. In 2014 she initiated ongoing mindfulness programming for University of Saskatchewan students consisting of weekly drop-in sessions, 8-week courses, workshops, and online meditations.

After 27 years working at the University of Saskatchewan, Vicki is enjoying a shift to private practice and the opportunity to work in the area of her greatest passion: mindfulness. Vicki approaches her work from a foundation of strength and capacity, supporting individuals in cultivating their internal resources and in meeting their challenges with respect and compassion.

Excellent program lead by a wonderful instructor. Vicki's program helped me reconnect with my mindfulness practice.
