It is a host for many festivals there is always something to do in the weekends, the fountains are so pretty as well - lots of photo ops with friends and family! I definitely recommend going to this place if it's a weekend and you have no plans.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great public space right in the middle of downtown. Lots of activities and festivals take place here every year. Please note Churchill Square is open but there is construction going on around it, and is still quiet for 2019. All will be back to normal in 2020. It’s an open and airy place. I have been working downtown for many years in a building next to the square and come here often especially during the summer. Just a great space for all Edmontonians to visit. There are public washrooms available.
August 26, 2021. Always love coming to the square. Some activities going on.
