A beautiful sandy beach with warm water when there is freezing cold water everywhere in Bruce peninsula. My kids loved it.

Not very much parking. It's a pain to pay. Only selection was a full day rate of $11.70 you must have exact change or a credit card. (No Visa debit) beach was flooded at the time of our visit. (Has been for some time apparently) and there is no sand to sit in.

Basic beach. Big disappointment after being at Halfway Log Dump on the Georgian Bay that morning and Sandbanks a few days before. When in the area it’s much better to go swimming in the dazzling clear waters of the Georgian Bay. And especially for the high price they charge.

What a waste of a day. For my boyfriend and I to spend the afternoon there cost $27 before we even entered. Parking is $12 for the day and then you need to pay for every single body that was in the vehicle. This cost would have been easier to swallow had the driver's entrance fee been included in the parking fee, but they just want every dime they can get. Paying for parking was also a major pain due to the distance away from the actual parking lot AND their ineptitude with technology as it took 10 minutes for us to print off our parking pass. When I commented on how exorbitant the cost was, I got a monologue from the attendant. "We have fully automated bathrooms and clean them regularly.... etc" Well, it wasn't clean, and only one out of four stations were fully working in the women's washroom. There was also no room on the beach. The waters were so high and they clearly don't care about people's experience, or they would limit their capacity. Nope. They need every dime to pay for the cobblestone parking lot. Once we were on the beach, my boyfriend was hassled by security for drinking an energy drink because he thought it was alcohol. EVERY man on the beach in their 20s got that same hassle, which is screwed up when he left everyone else alone. Overall, this could have been a beautiful day, but the trails weren't even all open. Had this area not been commercialized so much by Ontario Parks, it likely would have been enjoyable, but you wont even let me smoke a joint on the beach. Forget it.

Warm (for the area) waters that are very shallow for near 1km out. Fun place to swim and play in the water. Also has nature reserve areas, dunes + wetlands that have nice trail/boardwalks. If your in the area.. it's a must

Beautiful spot to walk and enjoy nature. Water levels were a little high closing off most of the dunes but still beautiful

The best beach in whole of Ontario. The water levels are super dependant on tides. You can just walk in the water for like 2 km and water will be just waist high. Water is clean and lots for spots for BBQ. There is a also a trail to walk and enjoy nature
