As the name suggests you could see the shore sand in a rhythmic form. I believe that’s the main reason the name to this beach. I totally surprised while I into the beach the water is pulled back approximately 250 meters inside. All of the sudden the water is filled back till the shore line. Then I realized that this beach will keep on pulling the water back and forth in regular interval. Lot of child’s playing with their water balloon boats and balls as water is too shallow for at least 300 meters from the shore.

Amazing shallow family beach! parking is limited so it’s not crowded. Staff encourages you to keep clean. There is guard for safety. There are washrooms, change rooms, foot cleaning stations. Coffee shop. Would recommend it definitely!

Great place to see the sunset! Washrooms available and a lookout spot attached to the information centre. Cute boardwalks and lookout spots.

Nice beach to explore and take dogs or kids as it is pretty shallow far out. Walk along to the right and there’s nice big rocks you can walk on in the water. Parking is very expensive for 3hr max I believe it was around $20 and small parking lot that gets packed in summer months. If you have a national park pass it’s free to park

Such a beautiful beach the water isn’t deep at all. You can walk in the water and it only goes till waist level for a while. Great place for kids to safely play in. Washrooms were clean and they have outdoor change rooms.

A beautiful beach to walk if you ever visit Tobermory, don’t miss out this place. The water is so clean and place is so calm in itself is adorable. There is also a walking area of around 500 m long. Must visit place.
